Last Tuesday (3-25-08) Da Chosen Poet (DCP) put down 'Strictly My Life' at The Lab recording studio, New Bedford, MA. It's a HOT track that makes you wanna switch lanes real smooth - no, bump that, it makes you wanna weave all the way down the highway with your seat back as far as you can go and still see out the windshield. Real life and all that, remembering the good and the bad, ya know? It was funny at first because the chorus is all singing and DCP wasn't that comfortable with it at first, but in the end he torched it. Peep the video...
Next up is a session at Dynamix (recording studio) on April fools with Johnny. We'll be puttin down a track that's real personal for DCP, Johnny, and Myself. Real deep material but a HIT, no doubt. I'll pop it later.

got back in the LAB today to lay down some scratches for the upcoming album. I think was 5, maybe 6, but guaranteed hot. DCP and Mo are really feeling 'itchin yer scratch' which is definitely thumpin, but I'm most ready to lay down 'we all live' which has a hook and a half. Maybe some day next week DCP will be putting down 'strictly my life', probably his hottest joint I've heard so far. I'm gonna try to post stuff when ready, but it will be a minute.
