It's finally here! The little button on the sidebar that links to "EUBlogs" now works.
Today the EUCantina.net is releasing their new partner website, The EUBlogs. The EUBlogs is a unique experience for Star Wars fans. Much like the SW official site blogs, this is a network of Star Wars blogs. It is similar to sites like Blogger, but it's all Star Wars!

The EUBlogs offers its members one of the best Star Wars communities around the web. For free, you can sign up, get a username and a blog, which will be under your own URL, and start posting! You can customize the theme of your blog, your sidebar, add pages, images, and much more! The EUBlogs are meant to give Star Wars fans a chance to share their thoughts and ideas in their own little space on the Internet.

The EUCantina.net is very excited about this new feature, and is proud to say that it is one of the, if not the only, free Star Wars blogging network online! So, what are you waiting for? Go to www.eucantinablogs.net to get your own blog started right now, and let Star Wars fans across the galaxy hear your voice.

July 2, 2008 - Wednesday

The time has finally come. Since May of last year, the Star Wars.com homepage has been a neat, cool looking assortment of planets that show the latest news, while the rest of the website stuck with the old look. Now, it's all changed!

Words can't describe the number of differences, so check it out for yourself here. Be sure to revisit your favorite pages, none of them look like they used to!

Current mood:  accomplished

The EUCantina.net is going with a new look.

In honor of the two biggest Star Wars events since 2005, we've decided to change the theme of our website to celebrate. From now until the release of The Force Unleashed, we will be blue.

Our "EU going Blue" summer centers around Star Wars: The Clone Wars movie and The Force Unleashed video game. Besides obvious site updates, a few special features are going to be added.

To start, the noticeable new color scheme has been created to go with our new banner (courtesy of Rebel Trading Post.com). We've also added two new countdowns next to our headline news slideshow.

The two new buttons on the top of the sidebar do link to our Forums and the Blogs for quicker access. Of course, the Blog button isn't working yet, and that's a site update that will be coming up soon, and will be a major event.

The Force Unleashed and Clone Wars image galleries have been made up to date, so be sure to check those out for all of the latest pictures. Those can be found on our Media Knowledge Center and The EU Unleashed pages. Don't forget to keep checking on those two pages, as new content is constantly added. As of now, they include special podcasts, the image galleries, trailers and videos, and much more.

A new feature for the two upcoming Clone Wars video games can be found here. This will provide exclusive and in depth coverage of the new games, including videos and image galleries, soon to come.

Also, we have too big interviews coming up in September. We'll chat with Karen Traviss, who is suspect to be working on the novel for the Clone Wars film. We are also working on getting an interview with Haden Blackman in the same month.

We hope that you enjoy all of the updates and work that have been put into the site.

June 22, 2008 - Sunday
EU Cantina.net is proud to announce extensive updates to its Myspace page today including a new theme (for the upcoming Star Wars: The Force Unleashed video game), a music player (Finally!), images and more! In an effort to spread EUC "Blue Summer," we will be heavily using Myspace to enchance the anticipation of both Star Wars: The Clone Wars & Star Wars: The Force Unleashed. If you haven't already, feel free to become our friend and discuss the Expanded Universe with us!
