Hey guys! We just wanted to hop on here for a second and let you know what we've been up to lately. First off we just want to let all of you who are concerned know that Harrison is doing fine! He's doing a lot better now that he isn't putting his body through the stress of touring! And as for the rest of us, a couple of us have moved on to other bands. Trevor now plays for our friends in CONFIDE, and Isaac now plays for our boys IMPENDING DOOM. And Kyle has gone back to school and is playing drums with his church group. We miss you all dearly, and wish we coulda kept going, but God had better plans for all of us and we can't argue with that. But ALL of you better be at every single one of Isaac, and Trevor's shows to support them!

It breaks our hearts to inform you all that we are no longer going to continue as Underneath The Gun.

Unfortunately our singer Harrison has been struggling his whole life with a heart condition called WPW syndrome caused by two holes in his heart he was born with. And over the  course of touring this past year his condition has worsened and doctors told Harrison and his family that if he continued with his current lifestyle that it could result in possible death. So he obviously had to call it quits, and we of course have to respect that because his life is more valuable than this band.

 Once we got that news we decided that it just couldn't be UTG anymore without Harrison up front.

We are all extremely bummed out about this, and it really came out of nowhere. We've been having the most amazing times this past year on tour, and we want to thank everyone who has supported us through everything we've gone through. We thank every single one of you who's ever came out to a show, given us a place to stay, hung out with us, or supported us on the road.

We want to thank Carl, Tim and everyone at Ferret for all their hard work with us. We thank our manager Andy Serrao for everything he's done for us, and for helping us develop! And we want to thank our booking agent Matt Pike as well!

And we also wanna give a special thanks to our good friends from MyChildren MyBride, The Word Alive, Emmure, and Winds Of Plague for havin good times with us out on the  road, we love you guys!

This however does not mean we are all giving up on music. This is a total bummer, but obviously God has other plans for us all.

We do know that for now, Isaac will be filling in for Impending Doom on the Atery Metal Tour. And we're not sure what Trevor has decided to do just yet, but he's a really talented musician and songwriter so I'm sure he'll end up doing something awesome!

Well, to start things off we are proud to announce that Smartpunk.com has chosen our new album "Forfeit Misfortunes" as the "Smartpick" up the month which we are more then happy about.                     PRAYER!

If anyone has any prayer about anything at all feel free to post it in this blog. Jesus taught his disciples to pray together as it says in Matthew 6:9-13. All of us being his disciples means that we should pray together. So if you have any prayer we are more than happy to pray for whatever the cause is. Please please send us as much prayer as possible and let us get involved in your life. A one time thing would be cool but a daily thing would be even cooler. Whatever you are comfortable with. It is Jesus's heart for us to come together in prayer. Matthew 18:20 says "For where two or more are gathered in my name, I am there in the midst of them."
