As the subject implies, we're Hallam FM's band of the week. Russell makes an outrageous accusation regarding a major celebrity's private life during the phone interview. Tune in tonight at 8:30 pm to find out who!

THE UNFORTUNATE INCIDENT’S ALBUM is now available to buy at Sheffield's Weston Park Museum gift shop (as the album cover was taken at Weston Park it makes sense). So if you want a copy of our album but fear the internet pop into the museum and grab a copy.

It's really rather nice...

Sheffield has an impressive reputation for cultivating important contributors to music. The Human League, Cabaret Voltaire, Pulp, Arctic Monkeys and The Longpigs are just a fraction of its home-grown produce. The latest favourite to progress from its vibrant music scene is The Unfortunate Incident with their feel-good indie pop songs destined to propel debut album “Build Your Own Ark” into the arms of widespread appreciation. It’s a well-crafted and thought out collection of work which reveals them to be meticulous song-writers with a natural ability to totally enhance each of their songs with catchy melodies. The talented trio have created a confident sounding record far greater than you might hope to expect from a band just arriving at the “debut album” stage of their career. It’s a very promising start which is sure to gain momentum from this point on. Once again Sheffield delivers the good stuff.

Ta very much, Alan Baillie

Being the nice chap he is, Steve Lamacq played 'Cause and Effect' on his Radio 2 show on the 16th of September; which, needless to say, caused considerable excitement at TUI house - we all live together in a big house like The Monkees, you know.

Seeing as the compact disc is now as antiquated as the steam-powered gramophone, you can be thoroughly modern and 'download' our album from iTunes...

Russ has managed to wangle a new column in Exposed magazine, where he shares with us the many fatuous letters he sent to companies while a bored civil servant. As you'd expect, it all descends into puerile hilarity.

Also, The Star printed a rather nice piece, which you can read here...
