If you want us to check out your music, that's cool, just send us a message. If our Myspace page is loaded with every other damned band on the planets promotional shit, how are we supposed to promote ourselves here ?

I'm a web designer, I do custom Myspace pages, so by all means if you want me to hook you up a page to promote yourself with, then hit me up and I'll give you a kick ass deal, and shit, with enough extra thrown in I'll manage it and promote the shit out of it. I'll make your flyers your graphics for you as well for enough cash.

Or if some of you want to rent space on our page for your promotional materials I'll give you a kick ass deal.

Barring that, any comments posted that are NOT ABOUT US will be denied. This is, after all, the Left of Zero Myspace page. Maybe it should be about, oh, I don't know..Left of Zero ? Just a thought I'm throwing out there.
Now, if we're playing a show with you, by all means swing by and drop a promo comment. THAT we're cool with.

" Thanks for the add, love the tunes, check us out sometime " or similar comments are  awesome to post and totally reasonable. However, comments that take 5 minutes to scroll through or 5 minutes to load on our page because of all the shit that you've put in them is NOT cool.

I'm glad as hell you just released an EP and are offering downloads, and I'm also thrilled for you that you have a show at Paychecks. But, my page doesn't care in the least. There's lots of myspace pages set up for the SOLE purpose of promoting bands and local music, and by all means, go there and load them up with your videos, reverbnation players, slideshows and show widgets. They are there for that reason only and they love that shit.

Us ? Not so much.

Oh, and while we're discussing common sense, why cant some of you get the fact that we're based in MICHIGAN ? Don't you think that posting a comment to our page to promote your show in NEW YORK or SEATTLE is kind-of a waste of time ? Unless you want to fly us out, I dont think we'll be attending, nothing personal.

I don't want to be an asshole here, but you don't have to wade through hundreds of comments a day and deny 98% of them. I do.

Now that we have everything in our crazy little world figured out, we are making ourselves available for booking. Any dates you have, send em to us and we will try to work something out. All messages regarding booking must be sent through Myspace.
