It's been a few months since our MySpace page was tended to but I went ahead and put the new cover up. (Even though it wont be on newsstands for about another week.) This issue is one of our best with coverage of Subiefest2, Team Orange's new Drift Spec C car and an absolutely SICK carbon fiber WRC replica from Japan. For you tuning geeks, we have a great piece on the basics of boost control. Good stuff!

Stephanie French is pretty in pink!  The NASIOC phenomenon has reached Subiesport, gracing this month's cover.  Also in this issue...the 2006 X-Games, Matt Kincaid's Mongrel STi conversion, and the "Scariest Legacy on the Road." Plus, columns by: Ryan Douthit, D1 Ace Kumakubo, Mark Thompson on Autocross and Tech with Ron Schunck. Tech features on the Zero to Hero 2.5RS, Building a PGT WRX rally car, H.I.D. How-to and more!

Subscribers should be receiving them about now.  Look for it on stands around September 10th, or order it direct from Subiesport by clicking here.

We've also moved our forum to NASIOC...check it out here:

Wow, it's been awhile.  Sorry for the lack of updates.  Things have been real busy here at Subiesport, as some of us have our hands full with all sorts of cool car stuff.  Here's a quick summary of what's new:

Subiesport Issue 9, April 2006

As you can see from our new profile picture, the latest issue of Subiesport is now on stands everywhere.  Borders is now currently running a huge promotion all over the country, so you won't be able to miss it.  Barnes and Noble will be running a similar promotion staring March 28th.  This issue features a 400+whp sleeper GC8, a "Porscharu" 914 with a WRX swap, a comparison test in the muddy woods of the Pacific Northwest between a Forester, Impreza, and Honda CR-V, and the first round of Staff Rides (including yours truly's ).

Driving Sports DVD, Subiesport Special Edition

Yes, we know it's been delayed for quite awhile now, but we've finally put the finishing touches on this DVD and they should be shipping out around the end of March.  Warwick did a great job on this DVD...I honestly don't think you'll be disappointed.

Driving Sports, The Series

Ryan's been working hard on the new weekly web/pod/google cast that just got released this week.  Check the first episode here:

Subiesport Interview with Rick Crosson, VP of Marking, Subaru of America

We really wanted to put this in print, but things just didn't fit so we decided to put it up on our site instead.  Rick gives some interesting insight into the future of Subaru, notably when it comes to hybrid vehicles:

Rick Crosson Interview

That's about it for now.  Thanks to everyone for spreading the word about Subiesport.  We all very much appreciate it!

The February 2006 issue is on its way to subscribers and stands! Subscribers should see it in their mailboxes within the next 2 weeks, and you'll see it at Barnes and Noble and Borders Books in early January.

I myself am particularly proud of this issue since it represents the first time that Ryan, Yuji, and I worked together all at once to contribute to this magazine.  SEMA was awesome, and you'll see that reflected in the magazine :)

Issue contents: SEMA 2005 Spectacular, 700HP STI, GC8 Motor Swap, Return of the Dragon, Big Brake Kit: Zero to Hero gets RacingBrake fronts and a step-by-step on installing Brembo front and rear brakes, WRC Wrap-up, Sports News and more!

Ahhh...we're back from SEMA after a fun drive down and a crazy drive back.  Now, it's time to put all those SEMA pics and coverage to good use...look forward to the February issue with our complete SEMA coverage!
