Self Conscious, an upscale sneaker and apparel store located 1021 West Lake in the West Loop of Chicago IL, is looking for all Chicagoland and surrounding areas college student rappers to participate in the First ever Models.Bottles.And Sneakers First Friday's Freestyle Battle Contest. The Battle will take place in front of expert judges and a couple hundred SC customers on June 6th, 2008 at 10:00pm.

The contest is totally FREE to enter and the winner will receive a $200 shopping card and the chance to perform an original song or freestyle at the "Share The Runway" Fashion Show the following day, along with 4 tickets to the show In addition the winner's name, picture, bio, and original freestyle/song will be placed on the store's website archives to be viewed by the public, and featured in the LifeStyle Times, an online blog/magazine that keeps the general public informed to what's hot in Chicago.
