Bgal's and bois, The Blend is on the tail-leg of their '09 tour this weekend in Milwaukee and Oshkosh, details here.
Meanwhile, Lazlo Supreme will be releasing national commercials every two weeks to promote their upcoming album "Evil Made Easy". Here's the first, you can check it here.
Who is Lazlo Supreme, you ask? Distant relatives of The Blend, although unwelcome at the dinner table, the trio consists of Toussaint Morrison, Linden Killam, and prodigal drummer Patrick Moses. Check'em out here.

As of late, the name of the game is "Spraypaint & Sweat".
This is a nice little how-to, for all you garage/local/blue collar bands/emcees/deejays. Linden and I have been making trips to our local Micro Center, which sells cd-r's for SUPER CHEAP. However these superbly cheap batches of cd-r's can only be bought once per visit. After you buy one batch, the rest are at a recockulous price that would make Steve Jobs check his bank account. Therefore, Linden and I have made enough visits to Micro Center in the past week, that the surveillance cameras have becom skeptical... and I don't blame them... and I think we all know why.
Moving along: we buy the cd-r's, burn 5 songs on them (including a statement by yours truely, declaring our independence (unwillingly) from record labels and how word-of-mouth will determine our survival in the long run), in which I then spray paint the tops of the cd-r's... let'em dry... and then spray paint a stencil on top of them.
Once this procedure is finished, I delve into a shite-load of plastic cd-r sleeves, and somehow fit every cd-r into each sleeve the same way, with that hot-damn "B" stencil facing the same direction every time 1) so it has some type of uniform, and 2) Doctor's have yet to diagnose me as ocd.
Now, with our cd's in the sleeve, I then staple a flier to the sleeve, with a city date, venue address, and badass graphic design to tantalize your attention, and BOOM, it winds up in your hometown, college town... or a bedpost you happen to wake up to with a mean hangover. Point and case, Linden and I have mailed over 900 of these kickass demos with our graphic design upon them, notifying you and the area code you reside in, The Blend will be attacking soon and no one's safe.
2ToneTour by The Blend Check it, Do it, Get there, Toussaint Morrison
PS - things are only going to get better from here on out.
