We've been doing the duo thing for awhile now, but we're back to recruiting for that essential third member. We just had a very successful first gig at Club Europa in Greenpoint, and are aggressively booking shows for the coming months. We've got our own practice space at Flood Studios in south 'Slope, where we rehearse Saturdays.

We're looking for a technically proficient and solidly grooving bass or keys player to gig with. You should be able to learn somewhat complicated rhythms and single-note runs -- you don't need to be able to sight-read them, but be willing to put in the practice to learn them by ear (or a chart can be provided). You also must be able to improvise freely in any of your favorite styles.

Previous attempts to find someone on here included a long list of artists we're inspired by, but in reality, the best way to understand what we're trying to do is to listen. Our MySpace profile has a couple of our more challenging composed tunes ("trigger finger", "mace's space place") as well as a couple of our more jam-oriented tunes.
