Hey guys, just thought we would post a block to announce that we have a new singer called Gemma!

So yea basically we are preparing our songs with new Lyrics and then recording 2 tracks which will then be posted on our myspace when complete.

We should be gigging again very shortly also which we are guessing will be mid May.

As for the album, the album has been put on standby at the moment due to lyrics needing to be done for all the material which we have written so when that is all complete we will be starting on the album.

Anyway cheers to all the people who messaged us about auditioning singer wise and good luck to you all! And also cheers to everyone who has supported us!

Hello Collibus Fans!

As stated in the earlier blog here is the update you have been waiting for! We will try to keep this short and simple.

Regarding the VOCALIST AUDITIONS!
Here are the steps you need to follow if you want to TRY OUT!!!

Either way will be accepted:
1. Using YOU TUBE - Record yourself singing along to anything you think shows off your vocal talents, then message our myspace with the link to your video! Or Alternatively send your YOU TUBE links to our Audition Email!:

2. RECORD your voice using any method you want then send us the MP3 (NO PITCH CORRECTION!) along with a PICTURE of yourself to our Audition email address!:

3.At a later date we will be holding LIVE auditions more news will be posted on this ASAP.

CRITERIA:
We are not looking for any EGOS or ROCKSTARS, we are after anyone down to earth and passionate about music. We are not biased towards anyone no matter what there musical tastes. We are not after carbon copies of anything be YOURSELF!

We are looking for someone who can SING as well as GROWL, singing is preferred over growling. Along with having a good voice, vocal POWER is also preferred along with a vast note range. You must be over the AGE of 17 to apply!

We are a Manchester based band and practice on a regular basis so having your own transport or a means of getting about is paramount along with dedication to the band. You must be willing to travel some distance to gigs and be apart of the whole experience. For example helping transport gear and set-up for practices and gigs.

If you think you have what it takes we look forward to hearing from you shortly! If you are selected we will contact you with further information.

Regarding the EP - TWO methods are being made available for purchase!

1. You will be able to order a CD from us via a PAYPAL link on our myspace, the CD will then be dispatched to your address after payment has been made.

2. The second method available is EMAIL. Again using the PAYPAL link on our myspace once ordered we will EMAIL the EP to your account. This method will be cheaper.

These methods will be available from next week commencing 09/02/09! So be sure to check back!

Hello Collibus Fans!

A lot has been going on in the Collibus world as of late! We have been making some very big changes and appreciate your patience thus far! These are very exciting times for us as a band, the main news we have to report is that we are currently looking for a new SINGER! Sadly due to many issues beyond our control David Atkinson can no longer be apart of Collibus and we wish him all the luck in his future endevours! Thank you for you're time with the band, you will be missed! We will soon be holding auditions for this new role so watch this space! Details on how you can audition will be posted very soon.

For our dedicated fans we are currently well into recording new material which will be ready asap. As we put the finishing touches to the music we will be actively seeking a new member and once we have found the missing piece of the band the final stage will be to add them to the album!

Regarding the EP we are still going to RELEASE it as a demo since we have promised you it for so long. This will be available through paypal and orders sent to us. More information on this will be posted along with the Vocalist status in the next couple of days.

At this present moment in time we are preparing a few snippets of the new material for you guys to check out! Any comments would be greatly appreciated!
