Sim, eu virei professor!

For the english speakers: I'll give Ableton Live classes starting in August 10th. The course will be in portuguese and will happen in Rio, but if you're still interested, contact me. :-)

There's a new remix contest going on at ccMixter, and I'm trying my hand at it once again. This time the victim is Fort Minor, Mike Shinoda's parallel project (yeah, the guy from Linkin Park).

The interesting part is that I don't like Fort Minor or Linkin Park - and dont hold great simpathy for Shinoda either. The original track itself is not that great: its your regular "I'm fuckin' awesome, yo" type of rap. Anyway, when I first heard the song I immediately had ideas for a remix, so there you go. The prize is quite interesting - a Technics SL1200 Mk5 turntable, which I really dont know how they're gonna send to Brazil if I win - and the only thing I spent making the remix was time. The final result is here. I think it's better than the original, but I'm rather suspect. ;-)

After years with pixellated guys and lots of text rolling on a small window, it’s time for a change. This is the new Gerador Zero website! The changes are way deeper than a new (tableless!) design: now you can get all g0 updates through RSS - waaay better than a newsletter, even if it still exists - and the site is now way better to mantain, thanks to Wordpress.

Another welcome change: all the site is bilingual (except for the articles on the press section - how about you writing about g0 in english?). This is really necessary, as g0 makes part of a bunch of online remixing and music communities (check out the links on the left).

It’s possible that you may find some bugs, but I expect to be nailing them quite soon. If you see something unusual, don’t be shy and send me an email.
