A Little About Myself
I am a father of 4 and grandfather of 2 darling boys who do no wrong. My wife has been a loving and supportive wife of 19 years. She is my soul mate and partner.
My grandfather (mother's side) was a part time fire and brimstone Baptist preacher of a small country Church that did not even have indoor plumbing, and a hard working dairy farmer, what memories. He talked to me alot about Jesus. Now his wife (my grandmother) MamaIrene was the most gifted piano player I ever heard. She was a sweet gentle soul and sometimes if I listen real carefully, I think I can still hear her playing on a lazy Sunday afternoon. Then on my dad's side I had a grandmother who was a living saint, I do believe. She raised 8 kid's alone and made sure they were in Church. I have since lost all of my grandparents and they were an inspiration to my life and will never be forgotten. I am sure they are welcomed residents of Heaven.
My mother had 5 sisters and 2 brothers and they all sang in a gospel group all around West TN when I was growing up. Sadly on Dec. 15, 2005 we lost our Mother (my 2 sisters and I) to a 2 year battle with breast cancer and that has totally changed my life. I see the sadness in my Dad's eyes and sometimes it is hard to look at. They were married for 43 years. If I can only finish this life here on earth being loved and respected as much as my parents. They were and still are a blessing from God.
I was saved when I was 14 years old and then drifted in and out of Church for many years. Finally in 2005, I got it right. I joined a wonderful Church family at Long Heights Baptist Church (lhbcmckenzie.com) and immediately fell into being involved with the media for the Church and now I am the Media Team Director. God gave me a ministry through the Church and through my web site business.
You see I am being changed daily into the likeness of His Son and it is an incredible journey that God has seen fit to carry me on. I look forward to working with you on your site and
