I just go back fom LA. Great place to visit, but there is no place like New York. I traveled alone so it was great to come and go as I pleased. I met a lot of great aspiring musicians from all over. I met people from Hawaii to Ohio to Texas. We were all there to be heard and I think must of us got a lot out of it in realizing where we want to be when it comes to being in this industry. I also met while getting off the plane VPof Island Def Jam, Laura Curtin, who was a pleasure to meet. She works alongside Bon Jovi, whom she says is really great to work with.
I really was kind of tired of taking classes so I had an hour to kill I decided to take a tour around Hollywood. Very cool!
I then met up with a cousin who took me out for some great thai food in Santa Monica. We then stayed at the house of the producer Narnia, Marc Johnson. Beautiful home. I probably will never afford a house like that. Then the next day we went to Malibu and met up with more family and off to home I went.
I was also allowed to perform at the convention one of my songs, You Better Leave Billy Alone. That was fun. My first and only performance in Hollywood.
Well, that is the story.
Whether you care or not I told.
Take care!
