It was very exciting to play some new songs at the Old Blue Last on sunday.
The funny thing was that few of them have titles already but I kept saying '...this new song doesn't have a title yet' ahah why? It has it! In fact It's called...shit I've already forgot it...never mind.
Check some picks on our blog page!

Ah!
We'll be recording soon our brand new EP.
We had a weird idea...in order to reach the sound we want...the hot vibrations we are looking for. We'll be recording surrounded by 100 BBQs!
Yes! That's what will do!

The weather report for this summer?
HOT
HOT
HOT

We still can't believe it,
Summer Palace is out now in Japan! Like Deep Purple 'Made in Japan'...
well that was a live concert on vinyl. Maybe like Tom Waits' song 'Big in Japan'...
but we are not big yet.
Anyway we are very happy THISTIME records released the album over there.

Here's our page on their website:

Ah! Almost forgot we are on ITUNES (Europe) under 'the best album of 2009 so far'...

Sayonara!

If you're looking for the most expensive way to check our Summer Palace poster out, just go and watch the b-movie "Lesbian Vampire Killers". The poster appears in one of the scenes!
We haven't checked it ourselves so if you happen to watch the movie tell us how it was (I mean: the scene with our poster in it!)

We apologize with all the (unfortunate) Internet Explorer users.....We just realized that there's been some sort of graphical glitch on our myspace page for all the users of that (evil) browser. Now everything is back to normality, so for all of you that in the last two months thought our myspace page looked terrible -for reasons different than simply your bad taste- now it's time to change your mind!

By the way we just jumped in the Twitter bandwagon.....
Have a look:

Q: If you go to the "alternative" section on iTunes, you will see a big fancy advertisement for our Adrenaline EP

A: Correct!

Q: Who paid for that? How did that even happen?

A: Jimmy the Greek hooked us up with some guys and the rest took care of itself.

We think this is neat. One day the novelty may wear off, but that day isn't today.

Fondly,
SDSF

Attention ye faithful!

Radio 1 disc jockey Steve Lamacq has chosen our new single, Adrenaline, as the single of the week on his eponymous BBC 6 Music show. Tremendous news for a band who can't afford umbrellas in this rain!

Adrenaline will be played every day on Lamacq's show which is found on BBC 6 Music between 4pm - 7pm. Feel free to email your favourite DJs and let them know that SDSF is awaiting their rotation.

Good day,
SDSF
