I collaborated with Nike ID to promote the launch of their brand new ID Studio at their flagship London store, Niketown on Oxford Street, and put together this promotional CD. We dragged in over 25 of the best underground Grime acts and got them to voice up an hour's worth of oneaway dubplate specials of some of their biggest tunes. The end result is the CD which is now floating about the streets.

If you want a free CD copy, you can pick one up in niketown London, Uptown Records, Rhythm Division, Mixing Records and UKRecordshop.com

And if you cant get there, then here's a free download link from my filefront page....

Enjoy

Big up everyone who reached the launch night on May 6th, look out for footage of that on MTV Base from May 18th. Special thanks to Karlene, Jumoke, A Cyde, Jenny, Chris and of course all the artists who collaborated!

I've had 2 fucking colds back to back and a stomach bug. (I blame the Scottish weather!) Anyway I get the Flu I am writing off this winter as an L.

But seeing as I have been laying around in the house all week surrounded by tissues and my thoughts, I've come up with some cool plans and ideas not just for the record label and Grime in general, but personally as well.

I'm going to put up a couple of blogs on this page about the things I do other than attempt to DJ and run a record label. It is meant to be the 'personal' page afterall.

So starting next week I'm going to get my gym blog up and running when I can make it out of bed. I'll also be putting up a blog about the exploits of my Sunday league football team!

May as well put this thing to use, hey? Least it will keep me entertained, even if it doesn't anyone else!

Anyone going to this?

My tickets came through, got a few people going so it should be a good laugh. I've followed NFL since the 80's when I watched it with my dad. I was a glory hunting 49ers fan, but they are fucking rubbish now.

I haven't even been to Wembley yet, weird my first trip there will be for American Football.

Any Giants or Dolphins fans out there, or just NFL fans who are gonna be reachin?

I'm gonna start posting some more blogs about the other boring stuff I get up to inbetween DJing and running the record label.

I have set myself a couple of targets for the end of the year, so I may as well blog about them to keep myself motivated.

I'll drop some blogs that I will be keeping updated regularly with my progress. Feel free to add comments and that if you like. Obviously any stupid ones will get deleted.

Check back soon!

Hey, so after I had like half the scene asking me about my grime is dead t-shirt, and a bunch of interest online, I decided to press up a limited amount of them in a few sizes. If you wanna confuse the fuck out of people who don't know any better, you can pick up one of these tees for yourself.

I'm not lookin to take the piss with the prices so if you live in the UK you can get one direct to your doorstep for just..... ten pounds. As I said, I am not doing this as a money making scheme, I just wanna try spread the movement out there and this covers costs so I can press up a bunch more tees and vinyl!

So if you are looking to support and also baffle a few people then you can head over to a new ebay store called 'keepinitgrimey' and buy yourself one in medium, large or extra large sizes. If you don't have paypal or any of that stuff, feel free to send me a message and I will try sort something out with you.

Here's the link::

Look out for some REALLY fucking cool shit coming in the next couple of months.

Anyone know how to change RAM on a Macbook? I'm trying to unscrew these screws underneath the battery, but they come at such an angle that I think I need to be Magneto and manipulate them out using mutant powers, a screwdriver aint doing shit!

Anyone know the secret of how to get them out?

And my bank account is going to be groaning with pain tomorrow morning....

Urban Species will hook you up some ridiculous custom shit and they have the official Marvel connect, so they can get you anything from them.

Heavier Than Heaven, which is a biography of Kurt Cobain written by Charles R. Cross. It ws in HMV on Oxford Street under my nose for £2.99 when I went to pay for my 2 T Shirts for £20, so I threw it into the bag. Treated myself for my birthday.

I've always loved Nirvana since I was about 13 years old and too young to understand what on earth this man was talking about. It made a good soundtrack to my mid teen years and subsequent transition into adulthood even though Kurt was long gone by then. As I've grown up and interpereted the lyrics through the lens of life experiences the music has made even more sense to me, and I'll often put on some mp3s during an evening of reflection.

Anyone read it? I'd appreciate some views and opinions as I work my way through the book. I must warn you I read pretty fast though, so be quick.

I'll let you know how I get on.
