If zebras are so mean why don't we say 'as mean as a zebra'? We use analogies about llamas spitting and mules being stubborn- heck even if it was as blunt as 'as deadly as a zebra bite' perhaps it would get the point across and little kids wouldn't see them as striped horses anymore.

 

Well... here it is- the one day when I really mope although I'm on a beautiful tropical island. Two weeks on the beach isn't so bad... but why must I always miss St Patty's?!?! I want to see my family- all the little munchkins running amuck and the older ones (Lacy :) catching up... Thankfully Easter is just a month away. Anyone want to fill my inbox while I'm away to amuse me? The days are long and slow and my book is a massive hunk of text right now. Who would think that a piece on nature vs nurture would be light beach reading?? The author just pretty much stated that any intelligent individual would acknowledge evolution over intelligent design and I still don't see why they are so mutually exclusive... perhaps I should be out pondering this all day/night- put some purpose into these carefree days. Ah, well- back to the beach for me- I miss you all. Be good and get your ears ready for many silly stories of our adventures down here. ;)
