Off to Brighton for a stag do at the weekend then I'm off to Ireland to acquainted with fresh air. Then at the beginning of August there is the wedding of the year to go to. I think Bunty has put in the highest offer to publicise the pictures.

Good evening,

Its been a fine weather summer so far. Don't ya think?

I hope you have been well, we have been good. I'm sorry we have been away so long. What looks like a period in-activity has been a period of just that. Still working on the right side of Jones though.

Since returning from NY a few things such as births, deaths, marriages and holidays have greeted us. So we will be returning in the fall with a Travelling Show extravaganza! With a possible home town show in August (details to be produced)

I know that there has been a few break-ups on our 'local' scene as of late. But we aint going anywhere! We have written and recorded a great EP (running at almost 29 mins, its great value!) and we believe in it.

As for the free download, it's a song that was written just before the 'Travelling Show' sessions and we decided just to do a one take wonder at the end of the session. It turned out pretty good. So I have posted up 'Gypsy Masquerade' as a gift to you say thanks for sticking with us and be prepared to live it up for the rest of our lives.

Innocence is lost in perseverance, but brings fulfilment.

In a few hopeful hours we start a journey. A journey that's going to bring us some peace.

We are flying across the ocean on a flaming pie to the that Apple on the east coast of America.

The disappointment of not playing the last time, all angles have been covered. All be it, its been a little close. Krista, our faithful agent in New York has worked her butt off to get us on the Knitting Factory bill. At a really great time as well. 9:30pm its when were all swinging right?

Anyway, Stu the lonesome drummer boy, he loses his bank cards all the time. So a few weeks ago he takes his passport out with him, in the mists of playing Wrestlemania in a pub that used to be good (OH the old days, how sweet thou lay!) something slips out his pocket. It wasn't his mister but his passport. Cut a long a story short, he got it yesterday. Passport that is not the HIV.

Taken the newly Telecaster across, she should serve me well.

Looking forward to some booze Armageddon NY style, be sure of something though, there will be stories on our return.

Good evening one and all,

Its time for excitement time! Yes indeed.

On Tuesday this week we put the finishing touches to the EP. Almost a year since the initial concept came about. Wow! Its everything and more we envisaged.

It will be out soon just getting the art work approved from the powers above..

And the icing on our rising cake, NEW YORK baby! Oh yeah!

Knitting Factory is confirmed!! May the 20^th and we cant fooking wait! Its going to be crazy days! Like to thank Krista for all her hard work getting us in through the door.

I remember last time walking past and saying ’Wish we were playing there’ Ian replied ’one day’ And its happened! Cheesy I know, but after the music calamities of the last voyage, its great to know we get a second chance, but at a top venue!

Just tonight we have written specific set ender of New York, lots of fuzz lots of Maximum Rhythm lots of roving bass lines, lots of Psych!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Its grreeaaaat!

Shifty Disco has come forward and offered to release us on their legendary singles club. Eagle eared listeners will remember we released Boneshaker last year through their singles club. So we are pleased to be back!

We are not quite the same band as we were then. We are better! Focussed, doing the sounds we love!

Things are ramping up once again for the Jones boys. Thanks to everyone who has supported the forth coming EP. Its been almost a year in the making, we are proud to be who we are, and proud of what we have achieved.

PS - Did anyone see Ray Giles new band the other week?

PPS - We are taking out ’Travelling Show’ night up to London. A venue has shown major interest in our project. Stand by for a test transmission!

And as he danced there were four simple villagers who picked up musical instruments and played while the monkey danced. Tthere was no organ grinder, just a fuzz pedal.

Although the monkey was some what restricted by the cage that surrounded his fur. He still danced a jive.

He was content , as the monkey was loaded on to the back of the steam powered cart.
