Our wedding day,
Some much like the time we held hands
Across the street reaching 7th ave
With tea bags and cups the size of our hands
No way in hell we're not telling a story
But these people look at our faces
With memories of sidewalk carvings
And used guitar picks
Treasure this moment
Like the ones you hid in the tree trunk
Of your 5th grade backyard.
I want to be there
To make the marks in your cheek
Go completely oppsite
And we will lie in cut grass
Like nothing happened
All ventures of our wedding day.
