wow, I haven't updated my myspace page in forever. kinda feel like myspace is becoming the forgotten child and 3rd runner up to twitter and facebook. i remember the days where myspace was that hip cool kids club with flashing lights and loud music. now it's become shady-ville, but yep, i'm still on it...

anyway, i'm gearing up to hit the road with one of my favorite people, william fitzsimmons, on a pretty amazing tour come late november. william is doing his first headlining european tour which i have the privilege of documenting for 3 weeks. some of the countries we are going to include: germany, the netherlands, spain, france, switzerland, and belgium. i'm sure i will be going camera crazy as i'm planning to bring at least 3 different ones (nerd alert).

this should be a pretty amazing / life changing experience as i've never been overseas before, but am looking forward to doing more of this sort of thing.

I've been off and on in Marshall Altman and Mikal Blue's studios these past couple weeks hanging out and filming EPKs for Bethany Dillon, Kim Caldwell, and Todd Carey. It's been cool to see the recording process with each of these artists. Be on the lookout here for some new posts hopefully pretty soon.

Hello Boys and Girls,

I just got back from an amazing trip up the California coastline up to San Francisco. We were shooting a brand new music video for my friend Rosi. Still pretty exhausted from it as we were constantly driving and shooting for 4 days. Had some amazing locations: redwood forests, beautifully jagged coastlines, a vineyard, chinatown in san fran, golden gate bridge, and morrow bay to name a few. We shot everything on the RED camera @ 4k resolution (ultra-high definition) on the Red lens (18-55mm) and an Angeaneau zoom (18-250mm). I typically camped out shooting hanheld around 40mm, creating a documentary-like look. Can't wait to start editing this stuff but it's got about a day more of rendering HD out, which is insane because there is so much information stored in each frame.
