One year on from its inception, Kscope releases Volume 1, a selection
of tracks taken from an already substantial back catalogue, along with
two tracks from forthcoming releases.
In recent years, a growing movement of bands has started to reclaim and
reinvent aspects of the progressive, post-punk and post rock genres,
re-establishing a desire to experiment with eclectic musical sources
and state of the art widescreen sonic possibilities.
Kscope was created to provide a home for this evolving and adventurous
style of music without boundaries, and was launched in May 2008 with
new albums from its first signings The Pineapple Thief and No-Man.
These releases have been followed by albums from the legendary likes of
Anathema and Porcupine Tree/Japan keyboard player Richard Barbieri, and
highly rated newcomers such as Italian band Nosound and
Lunatic Soul
(the solo project of Riverside's Mariusz Duda).
2009 is already shaping up to be an equally exciting year for Kscope
with Insurgentes, the debut solo album from Porcupine Tree frontman
Steven Wilson, and releases from the critically acclaimed Engineers and
Swedish enigmas Anekdoten.

2. Lunatic Soul - Lunatic Soul
