Today is the 4 year Death Aniversary of my Father. After my Dad passed away my life has never been the same. If you still have your father you should hug him and let him know you Love him, you’ll be happy you did!

I just want to take this time out to thank ALL of my fans in Canada for making my Homecoming Tour such an incredible success!  Every city on the tour was so supportive it really made me even more proud to be Canadian.  The Air Canada Centre shows were the Extereme Height of my career thus far.  I don't know if the people who were at the ACC shows knew it or not but I got very emotional before and after each performance.  To be standing back stage while the video montage (that my friend and director Jigar Talati put together) was playing and hearing the reaction and feeling the anticipation building in the room was so overwhelming that I literally got teary eyed and had to use every fibre of my being to not break down and sob like a little girl!   I thank EVERYONE who was there and everyone who wanted to be there I could NEVER have made it this far in this business without you guys!  I will always be grateful and I hope to continue to be able to make you all laugh.

Guess what?... Another delay!  6hrs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  That means I will have spent 15hrs at the airport here in Dubai!  I think I might actually be too tired to be angry!  I think there is one glorious word that describes how I feel right now and that word is... This is supposed to be a short blog but I don't know how it's going to turn out!  I'm sitting here at the airport in Dubai waiting (And WAITING!) for over 9hrs. now to board my flight that will take me to Bangalore India.  I've been travelling since Friday night and it is now mid-day Sunday!  Fortunately they have showers here and I took advantage of it!  However I forgot that my deoderant was packed in my suitcase and now after cleansing myself and feeling fresh, I realise I'm probably in a worse situation!  Dirty clothes and NO deoderant! Oh well I guess I will fit in when I reach the Motherland!  I have to cut this short now cuz they just called my flight but I will do my best to update you nosey fuckers!

I know I don't "Blog" as much as I should but hey... I'm kinda busy!  Anyway, I write this blog from my hotel room in The Motherland...No not England!... India!  I've come to India with the hope of being inspired to write some new material and after my first day, I think this place might be a Gold Mine!  So many things that happen here that just don't make sense!  I would put them down in this Blog but that would impede my writing process!  Well maybe just a couple of things... Why do soooooo many men in India feel the need to keep a 70's Mustache?  After driving around Mumbai today I noticed that we could possibly be the itchiest people on the planet!... Everyone was scratching some part of their bodies! (Ass, Head, Arms....)  These are just some of the things I noticed today... well there are more but I'm saving those for the stage! Now stop reading this you nosey Bastard!!!

Hey just a quick to note to everyone who thinks that I'm "Retiring"  The fact that you can't listen properly isn't my fault.  The way this whole "Rumour" started was because on my DVD "Outsourced" I said that I was retiring a specific joke (Somebody gonna get a hurt)  I never said that I was retiring!  So if you do like to listen to my act, please take the time to Actually LISTEN to what I'm saying then I think you may get more out of it!  Thanks for your support but I just wanted make sure we're all on the same page.  INDIANS! So I just finished the Aspen Comedy Festival and let me tell you how surreal this entertainment game can get.

The first night I got here I performed with Paul F.Tompkins and Dana Gould (Who were both Extremely Funny!) and the show went great.

Day two, I walk into the lobby of the St.Regis hotel and see Damon Wayans standing there talking to Chris Tucker and Dave Chapelle. Dave (who is an old friend of mine) sees me and calls out my name "Russell Peters!" I go over and although I hadn't seen Dave in about 6 years he is the exact same guy that I met and befriended 10 years earlier. He was warm and friendly and NOT Crazy! Damon turns to me and says "Long time no see" which I thought was pretty cool considering we had only met once a while back. Then Chris Tucker comes over and Dave (Chapelle) introduces me to him, and I gotta say Chris is also a very down to earth REAL guy.

Cut to Saturday (march 11) I'm performing in the "Tent" on the 11:00pm show same line up as the first night and I was closing  (again) Paul F.Tompkins went on first and killed. Then Dana Gould was on next (also killing) as he's finishing his set and about to intro me he stops and wastes a little time. I'm backstage and I don't know whats going on but after a few minutes he introduces me and I find out that the delay was that Jon Favereau, Vince Vaughan and Jenifer Aniston had walked in and sat down in the third row!  So now the audience that was watching and paying attention to a comedy show, are now severly distracted by the A-List Celebs that have just shown up (which I don't blame them). Also right before I walk out onto the stage, I get informed that Dave Chapelle and Chris Tucker are going to be going on after me (therefore I have to intro one of them).  Now the cool part of this story is that the only reason all these big stars had shown up to my show was because Dave Chapelle had been talking about me to them over dinner and as a last minute plan they came down to check out my show!

I don't really have a point to telling you about this, but isn't that the purpose of Blogging!?

Oh my God I can't believe it's two weeks into the new year and I haven't "Blogged" yet this year, My Bad!  As I write this I'm in my hotel room here in Sacramento about to get ready for my show tonight. I hope all goes well but in this business you can never be too sure!  Tomorrow night is the BIG one! San Francisco, the Warfield Theatre here I come!  I tape my NEW special there for Comedy Central and for DVD release due out later this year, it's big! The only problem is that I am just getting over being sick for the past 2 weeks and hope I don't lose my voice or end up coughing throughout my whole set!  Let's hope for the best! Anyway that's it for me but I'll try to be a bit more dilligant with my "Blogging"!

P.S. My website is finally up and running, www.russellpeters.com  parts of it are still under construction but it took me this long to get it going and this is truly a milestone!

Russell The Real One!

Hey it's Russell (not the imposters) I haven't posted anything in a while, cuz I've been too busy on the road. But now I sit here in the comfort of my home in Toronto and while it's shitty and cold outside I am still in good spirits cuz it's the Festive Season!  I am actually looking forward to this Christmas and I'm going to spoil all my loved ones!  I've had an incredible year and have my fans to thank for that! Last weekend I was at the Improv in Irvine California and all the shows were sold out and the shows were great! (except the one where some white guy got upset and called me a Racist Asshole, the proceeded to get kicked out) But thats another story!  I hope everyone has a great Christmas or whatever u celebrate and that 2006 exceeds your expectations the same way 2005 exceeded mine! Happy Holidays!  p.s. as nice as this may read...I was watching porn while I wrote it!

Hi all this is Russell... Peters! The Real one, The "Comedian"!   I'm writing this blog because people have been coming up to me telling me they joined my friends list here at myspace, and I'm here to let everyone know they've been mis-led, hood winked, bamboozled!  Some LOSER, who can't be themselves took it upon them to pretend to be me! The picture u see over there was taken with my cell phone in Vegas about 2 weeks ago,  I got to hang out with Chuck Zito ( www.chuckzito.com ) and I have to say he was one of the nicest most gracious people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting.
