When the Lord was creating peace officers, he was into his sixth day of overtime when an angel appeared and said, "You're doing a lot of fiddling around on this one."

And the Lord said, "Have you read the spec on this order?

A peace officer has to be able to run five miles through alleys in the dark, scale walls, enter homes the health inspector wouldn't touch, and not wrinkle his uniform.

"He has to be able to sit in an undercover car all day on a stakeout, cover a homicide scene that night, canvas the neighborhood for witnesses, and testify in court the next day.

"He has to be in top physical condition at all times, running on black coffee and half-eaten meals. And he has to have six pairs of hands."

The angel shook her head slowly and said, "Six pairs of hands... no way."

"It's not the hands that are causing me problems," said the Lord, "it's the three pairs of eyes an officer has to have."

"That's on the standard model?" asked the angel. The Lord nodded. One pair that sees through a bulge in a pocket before he asks, "May I see what's in there, sir?" (When he already knows and wishes he'd taken that accounting job.) "Another pair here in the side of his head for his partners' safety. And another pair of eyes here in front that can look reassuringly at a bleeding victim and say, "you'll be all right ma'am, when he knows it isn't so."

"Lord," said the angel, touching his sleeve, "rest and work on this tomorrow." "I can't," said the Lord, "I already have a model that can talk a 250 pound drunk into a patrol car without incident and feed a family of five on a civil service paycheck."

The angel circled the model of the peace officer very slowly, "Can it think?" she asked. "You bet," said the Lord. "It can tell you the elements of a hundred crimes; recite Miranda warnings in its sleep; detain, investigate, search, and arrest a gang member on the street in less time than it takes five learned judges to debate the legality of the stop... and still it keeps its sense of humor. This officer also has phenomenal personal control. He can deal with crime scenes painted in hell, coax a confession from a child abuser, comfort a murder victim's family, and then read in the daily paper how law enforcement isn't sensitive to the rights of criminal suspects."

Finally, the angel bent over and ran her finger across the cheek of the peace officer. "There's a leak," she pronounced. "I told you that you were trying to put too much into this model."

"That's not a leak," said the lord, "it's a tear."

"What's the tear for?" asked the angel.

"It's for bottled-up emotions, for fallen comrades, for commitment to that funny piece of cloth called the American flag, for justice."

"You're a genius," said the angel.

The Lord looked somber. "I didn't put it there."

hello everyone! :~)

Since I havn't done a blog in awhile, just wanted to say hey and see how everything was... I'm doing good, work is going well. I got a promotion; which is always fun!   I've seen some good movies recently some new some old... Current favorite is Boondock Saints! (still) saw fight clun for the first time, loved it.. Kade got me office space..so I'll be watching that soon :) also saw The Da inci Code and X-Men 3.. both were cool, but  liked The Da Vinci Code better..better plot.  X-Men  I think they tried to put to much into it...

Oh! and I got my Nikon ordered! Im SO EXCITED I can't wait!! 

And im getting better at shooting, which is good considering im fixing to buy the .45... lol (thank you baby !!) 

Also everything is going great with Kade :~) he's so awesome!

Hey everyone.. Im so impressed with The Boondock Saints!!  Its INCREDIBLE!!   I loved everything about it. The plot,acting...all of it. I wouldn't change a thing...  lol although I read on IMBD that there was a version that was rated NC-17.. and the one that was released was edited... wonder if I can get a copy of that! I would be intrested in seeing what was edited...

Thanks to Kade for introducing me to it!  I've heard of it before but never seen it.. we were in the store.. looking for LOCK STOCK AND TWO SMOKING BARRELS (which is another AWESOME movie that I have Trey to thank for introducing me to and everyone must see!) they didnt have it and ended up getting this one instread. Absolutely amazing! EVERYONE should watch this movie... if you havn't already.

  Oh and did anyone know that Reese Witherspoon is from New Orleans??  lol just a side note there..  well ttyl  :~)

Hello,
for the few of you that read this... It prob wont make any sense to you... I've only talked about this with two people on here.. and they prob wont read this.. just needed to put it out there....

The closeing of a Folder...
Ive finally found peace with something Ive been dealing with... so the folder is closed (and deleted), the alerts are gone, screen names taken off... its done. 
honestly even those of you who know about this wont understand this, and its no biggie.  I feel better, I'm happy again, both with myself and everything else.  For those of you that helped me through this.... ya'll have no idea how much you mean to me. Luv you both.

The first player of this game starts with 6 weird things/habits about yourself. People who get tagged need to write a blog of their 6 weird things/habits, as well as state this rule clearly. At the end you need to choose 6 people to be tagged and list their names.  don't forget to leave a comment that says, "you are tagged" in their comment section and tell them to read yours.  You can't tag the person who tagged you.

1. I like to go to Cane's  to get texas toast and french fries... then go to Mc Donald's to get BBQ Sauce to dip the fries in.

2.  I love being in boats and on the water...  but I have a huge fear of drowning.

3. I don't eat any foods that are white and creamy...ranch dressing or dip,cream cheese,sour cream, mayo, greek dressing...

4.Piercings... is all im gonna say...

5. Im allergic to metal.

6. When I drink Milk or Water it has to be super cold.. like with ice or straight out of the freezer... but I have to drink the milk before the ice melts.
