Most of you have a good idea of what George Bush will leave behind as a legacy, but I think it's important that we review his campaign platform.

Here it is, straight from his mouth:

..

In the next 4 to 8 years, I think it's important that we do a far better job of holding BO accountable to "We the People".

I just wanted to let everyone know that Windows Vista is a piece of shit.

Also, so are Mat"shit"a drives.

Other than that...  My laptop hard drive crashed, so I lost literally nothing important, because I am one of the %0.05 of computer users who regularly backup their documents.

I think it's finally time for a 320GB for the MacBrick Pro.

Did she say anything that made any sense? I was too busy watching the turkey slaughter going on in the background.

OK, it's kind of a sick backdrop, for a sick woman.

..

I watched it again. It's complete nonsense.

Today it was announced that Microsoft will begin offering a free anti-virus and internet security software suite some time in 2009.  Since 2006 Microsoft has offered OneCare which touts itself as some sort of all in one, IT dept in a pop up window.

To be blunt, it sucked, and almost no one bought it.  If you did buy it, my condolences.

The question that begs itself is this, will this new piece of sh..software be worth using, since it is free.  My guess is that even at the low low price of FREE, users will not be that interested.  Really, wouldn't this be akin to that 65 year old, sleepy bank guard who is about to retire, offering to continue to work for free?  Do we want this guy sleeping in our bank?  He doesn't really protect us from anything, and the last time we got robbed, we had to reformat and reinstall the whole bank.

When I started this blog I wanted to link to an announcement on Microsoft's site, but unfortunately, I couldn't find it.  When I went to microsoft.com I was prompted to install "Silverlight" to enhance my browsing experience on MS' site.  Ooh, yay, just what my computer needs, a new attack vector for adware and malware.

Then, I clicked on the link that says: "Avoid viruses, spyware, hackers, and more: Learn 4 steps to protect your computer"

I was greeted by this: We are sorry, the page you requested cannot be found.

I guess they realized step 1 would be: Buy a Macintosh, or run Linux.  And apparently, the page was removed by someone who figured out that would actually not be good for the Borg...

I like this pick.  Daschle is one Democrap I have a level of respect for, and I think he'll do a good job.

Story from FauxNews here

Now, if only Obama would appoint Kucinich as the head of the new "Prosecute that last batch of assholes department"

I still have some things to say about Rahm Emmanuel, I just haven't had time to formulate that blog.

The way I see things, our economy is pretty much screwed either way.  The next president won't be able to save us.  We are well on our way to the Greater Depression, or whatever they will call it in the future.  By 2010 I predict the Dow will be hovering around 4000.  The foreclosure rate will finally be starting to slow down, since there won't be many of today's homeowners left.  The average price of homes in most markets will be about half what they are today.

OK, enough with the doom and gloom predictions, here is how we missed out on McCain.  With his choice of Sarah McPalin as vice president, he was giving us a real chance for comedic sedation.  We can still hope for her 2012 resurgence and election.

Think of all the great SNL skits that Tina Fey won't get to do.  Think back to the years of Dan Quayle, and how he told that 11 year old (incorrectly) how to spell potato(e).  Just to give you an example of some of the quotes that I am sure that McPalin would have bested with her lunacy and inability to grasp even simple concepts:
