hi, how you doing? no bad? thought thats what you would say.
tomorrow night (monday 20th july) we will be playing a couple of songs live on the lovely vic galloway's bbc radio scotland show. we will be doing a couple of our own ones and a bad version of someone elses song. it'll be on sometime between 8-10pm.
we aren't the best at making tour diaries or really saying to anyone what we've been doing but we would like to say a big thanks to anyone who came saw us on our wee tour in june. we had a blast every night and are looking forward to visiting some of these places again and also playing some new places. another thanks to those who came had a peek at us at t in the park. we were genuinely suprised that the tent was quite full and even more suprised/confused when it became apparent the people singing our songs back at us weren't our parents/friends/somebody that we've already met.
today brother dave, brother dave's flatmate steve and I walked up to the top of Ben Lawer which is just under 4000ft and is the 10th highest mountain in scotland. had a few beers and an off the hook game of monopoly the night before thinking the walk would be a piece of piss. turns out I was wrong and pretty much spent the whole time moaning. it was worse when they lied to me and told me the top of this bit was the summit then i got up there only to be greeted by another summit that took 45 minutes of steep climbing to get to the top. sack doing that again, i'll stick to being miserable indoors. i did get to wear a balaclava though so felt kinda cool.
if you've made it this far down I hope you're well and see you later!
adam

hello!
exciting news: we're playing at the ICA in london on 9th july. it's
independents week and fatcat/one little indian are putting on a night
with the twilight sad, us and kill it kid playing. rumours are that
it's going to be the loudest thing to ever happen. we are so excited!
you can buy tickets at www.livenation.co.uk and they're £11.50.
also, we're back from our little tour!
we had loads of fun. thanks to all the people who came to see us on a week night in june when there were hundreds of other things to do.
and, our album has been out for over a week now! it still feels pretty weird, but you can go buy it in a shop now. if you've not done that yet, you should go do it now. unless you've already found a leak online. that'll do!
we had a great time in king tuts for the album launch, playing with our friends. lyons and over the wall were amazing and brother dave and jarv 'dor were awful nice to play with us on stage.
we've also announced another headline tour of the uk in november! more on that soon as well as news of another tour of somewhere else entirely.
love, wwpj. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

hello! we're playing at the lexington on 18th june as part of our album tour, and apparently you can win a guest list place for you and a friend! you can do so by clicking on this here link. it's a website called music slut, which sounds lovely. you just have to send an email in, no big deal. if you'd like more of a challenge, then feel free to message us and we'll give you a really hard question to answer, and a number to phone. but you'll still have to email the music slut to win. also, you can hear some songs from our album (if you've not already downloaded it illegally - oh yes, we're on to you) on NME radio next week between 10am and 2pm where it's album of the week. or, you can go over to the FatCat site and stream whatever song you like whenever you like. it's up to you. hope all is well; love, wwpj. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

hello! how is everyone? we have lots of news... for the first time in our tiny lives, you can now buy our music. our debut single is available for pre-order. you can do that by clicking here. it's coming out on 4th May and we're very excited about it! it'll be on 7" and download, both of which you can order on the fatcat website. our mums are a bit disappointed that there's no cd singles available, but there you go. our album is coming out on 15th June and is going to be called these four walls. to celebrate this we are going to go on a tour, on which we will do our first ever headline shows in england. we'll start in edinburgh, which is fitting, then do dundee, glasgow, manchester, nottingham, london, leeds, and newcastle. we are playing some music festivals in the summer. you can buy early bird tickets for Outsider Festival that we're doing on the 28th june. you can do so here.we are also playing Wickerman Festival on 24th july. we might be playing more festivals. also, we have just returned from the united states of america. we are still alive! we played a kexp show in new york city at the bowery ballroom and had the best time. we opened the night, so i guess we should thank everyone who came along early to see us. it blew our little minds how nice everyone was. we also played in texas for sxsw and had a blast. so thanks to everyone who came to see us when there were thousands of other bands you could have gone to see instead. you probably missed something great! that's us. lots of love, wwpj. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx xxxxx
