Peace, true believers:

Now, I'm sure most of you know that I'm a pretty easygoing guy, but some of these myspace requests / comments (while all VERY appreciated) are getting kinda reckless. So, I wanna institute a few guidelines when it comes to sending me a friend request or leaving me a comment.

1. No talking about swagger. Not yours, mine, anyone's. Talking about Jack Swagger, however, is acceptable.

2. Shameless promotion is okay...hell I do it myself sometimes. But obnoxious posters/flyers and stuff aren't cool.

3. NEVER put stuff on my page that plays automatically. I don't care if it's a player, a flash thing, or whatever; if it keeps people from hearing my songs (which I'm assuming they want, since they DID come to my page), we have a problem.

4. Don't leave the same comment multiple times, or write the same thing a zillion times in one comment. Case in point:
ADD ME
ADD ME
ADD ME
ADD ME
ADD ME
ADD ME
ADD ME
ADD ME
ADD ME
ADD ME
ADD ME
ADD ME
ADD ME
ADD ME

5. If you really have to tell me how "hot" your music is, or how "highly anticipated" your album/mixtape/single is, chances are it isn't...think about it.

6. I'm not a rapper, and I'm not a singer. For the love of God, stop telling me you've got beats for my next single. (added May 5, 2009)

This is all for now, although I'm sure I'm going to add more soon.

Hey everyone,

A lot of folks have been hitting me up asking how much Noodle the Innocent Child or Khakolak Boy charge to jump on tracks. And lemme tell no, there is NOTHING like getting messages and e-mails asking about somebody else.

In all seriousness, they both charge $150 for their services. If anyone's interested, send me a message (everyone else does!) and we'll work something out.

Not only is my page 'swag-free,' but my label's is as well.

So I kindly ask you to keep that shizz from Urbanizm.

Thanks,

Okay, first check this out. It's an interview Malcos did regarding his involvement in the soundtrack for Super Street Fighter II HD Remix (yeah, like that's not a bitch and a half to say). But anyway, here's my favorite part of the interview:

"Although 'Both Sides' is my first vocal album, I had been making the odd vocal song here and there for a few years, most of them for Urbanizmmusic. However with 'Both Sides' I think I finally reached a stage where I was happy with my vocal performance and songwriting, so I asked for the old Urbanizmmusic songs to be removed!"

Malcos totally threw UM a shoutout and a link in his interview! Such awesomeness. =)

The following is the philosophy of Charles Schultz, the creator of the "Peanuts" comic strip. You don't have to actually answer the questions. Just read the words through, and you'll get the point.
1. Name the five wealthiest people in the world.
2. Name the last five Heisman trophy winners.
3. Name the last five winners of the Miss America.
4. Name ten people who have won the Nobel or Pulitzer Prize.
5. Name the last half dozen Academy Award winner for best actor and actress.
6. Name the last decade's worth of World Series winners.

How did you do?
The point is, none of us remember the headliners of yesterday. These are no second-rate achievers. They are the best in their fields. But the applause dies. Awards tarnish. Achievements are forgotten. Accolades and certificates are buried with their owners . Here's another quiz. See how you do on this one:
1. List a few teachers who aided your journey through school.
2. Name three friends who have helped you through a difficult time.
3. Name five people who have taught you something worthwhile.
4. Think of a few people who have made you feel appreciated and special.
5. Think of five people you enjoy spending time with.

Easier?
The lesson: The people who make a difference in your life are not the ones with the most credentials, the most money, or the most awards. They are the ones that care.

I mean, I'm not seeing things, am I? This page does look suspiciously like the Urbanizm page, right?

Of all the pages on MySpace, they pick THAT one? No accounting for taste, I suppose. Still, they could have at least put the background image on their own Photobucket.

It's pretty crazy how I have almost 500 friends on this piece (most of whom I don't actually know), and only talk to a few people.

You guys should talk to me more; I don't bite. Often.

So as people may or may not know, Noodle & Feature have been working on Escape Route, a mixtape that's been a long time in the making. Well, it's finally set to come out tomorrow. Everyone involved has really busted their ass and come tomorrow we were gonna bask in what our hard work has gotten us.

As for me....you should know that it doesn't really work that way. And here's another example.

In addition to some behind-the-scenes stuff that hasn't gone right, my aunt, who was recently diagnosed with leukemia, also suffered a stroke and is on life support.

So February 8, 2008, the day that Escape Route was supposed to be unleashed to the world, will live in infamy as the day they pull the plug on my aunt.
