So it's a year later, what the fuck have I done? well I uploaded the last track of the advent calendar 1 year late, so that was cool.

We still haven't released our 7th record, but that's being dealt with, you can now get it on amazon as a shitty MP3, and i-Tunes too, but we hope to release it properly some time this year.

I moved to Singapore in April to make video games, so that means we haven't rehearsed in a while...! we will do some shows in the UK and Europe in July, meanwhile I have a weird SF adventure going on out here, with Sludgefeast Singapore, one of the tacks can be heard on our profile right now. Its odd because I couldn't easily find anyone who could give the songs the right kind of feel, at one rehearsal our song "nothing to say" sounded more like funk than asshole-punk-rock.

So I decided to write some songs for a duo, where the parts played by the second person would be limited in scope, allowing the super adventures of rock to continue with anyone who was into it. So yeah I think I have found someone, you can hear her doing back ups on the new track. The tracks are usually drums and synth, but sometimes drums and guitar, or drum machine guitar an synth. Drum machine is always intended to sound as synthetic as possible, because I fucking hate drum machines, so the more it sounds like a gameboy or C64 and the less it sounds like a Dr. Rhythm the better.

So yeah, I guess there will be an 8th album coming to the world at some point, currently I plan for it to be a mixture of the two line ups. 50/50 duo and 3 piece. If we can get our duo up to spec we will play some shows out here (thats the intention) but there are like no places to play, the live music scene in singapore is really fucking poor.

actually I guess it would be our 9th record, because number 8 is ll ready to go, but it will be downloadable only, its the complete 100 songs recorded live in a day session, I guess you could imagine it as the expanded version of shitrock motherfuckers, with a few tracks missing.

 

So we are doing an edvent calendar, fuck knows if I'll be capable of actually updating it each day but I will try!

So brixton then..?? god that was the crap-est gig of my life, I remember looking down at my guitar and seeing my fingers doing things I hadn't asked of them...

I guess thats what happens when you drink too much, drinking beer actually made me feel sick for some time afterwards. At least I didnt break any guitars unlike the gig before.

Anyway the next gig should have been an alice cooper homage set, it still might be, but its only a week away and we havent learnt a single song yet, I have actually recorded the propsed set for us to learn, I just need to mix it....hmmm, those guitar parts are hard as fuck, the dead babies intro shouldnt even work, the guitar and bass parts hardly go together, then the vocals somehow pull it all in to some sort of chordant perfection. God I love the coop. We will offerthe songs for downlpad when we launch the new forum (it seems to work I just need to make it not look shit)...  

We have a new record, "Shitrock Motheruckers" it's out soon...its out in Holland in late feb / early March (around the time we go out there and play a few shows) UK release will happen early next year, but if you want one come to one of our shows, or make us come and play your town, we'll bring some with us.

Also I think Shitrock might become one word, its cooler that Shit Rock, what do you think?

monday 8:55 am (UK). hell is overflowing today, and all the real fucked up souls that satan has either had enough of, or he cant be fucked to let in are being pumped in to my mind, today I am running on devil power...what shall I use it for? well I already decided not to go to work and make video games today, so maybe I'll let loose on the golf couse, and use the soul of ghengis kahn to get me some hole in ones, that will show those motherfuckers down at pitch and putt who's the god damn king of the world....the children and elderly who inhabbit our local 18 holes will be stunned and impressed as I sink hole after hole and run up to them and shout "eat them apples mother fucker" and "fuck you mr. golf turd" as loud as I can in their faces.... well I'll either do that, or go back to bed.
