On December 5th, Nathan Slade passed away. A piece of me is gone and can never be replaced. The last 3 years he and I haven't talked much. Things happened between me and him that were never settled man to man. I wish I would have gotten that chance. I loved Nate whether he wanted to believe me or not and still do. He was the best musician I have ever worked with in my life and it will probably stay that way. No one could make me laugh as hard and then gross me out in the same sentence as well as Nathan. No one ever  believed in me the way he did. He brought me into his dream. He let me be a part of his vision. I will never forget that. I will take it with me everyday. My heart goes out to his amazing wife. May God hold you in his hands. My heartfelt sympathy as well to his family who took me in when I had nowhere else to go. I love you Nathan....I hope you have found peace brother. -Joey
