Saint Joan 'The Wrecker's Lantern' album - Available Now from:

The new Saint Joan album The Wrecker's Lantern will be released towards the end of June on Camera Obscura records (Sharron Kraus, Primordial Undermind, Black Sun Ensemble...). It will be distributed in Australia, in Europe and in the States. We will put the full details of the release on our website www.saintjoan.co.uk when we have an exact date. We will be playing some gigs in the UK around the time of the release.

We will  be playing a live radio session with WPRB-FM, for the Nocturnal Transmissions show from 10 pm with our old friend Dr Cosmo. This will take place on Friday 28th April. It will be broadcast online and those in the UK should be able to listen to it at about 5 am.

Hello world

Saint Joan have realised that we have some work to do in 2006 before we can float ourselves on the stock market a la David Bowie. The first positive step we have made all year is to join this myspace lark.

So what is happening? We are recording our first full length album in very very very early new year. This is to be the follow up to this years "one at twilight" our 6 track mini-album - still available from www.saintjoan.co.uk.

We're still tight with our Nottingham friends - seachange, the chemistry experiement, sweetbriar, the escapologists and everyone else. In fact we're fresh from the annual Xmas covers party where splendid night was had by all (highlight was Sweetbriars jawdropping rendition of "sure shot" by the beastie boys)

I'm sure this is enough for the time being but for now it's a sunny Hello from the Joan and rest assured 2006 is our year. Anyone reading from the U.S. we'll see you in April.
