"A gang of alleged Satanist cannibals has been accused of dismembering and eating four Russian teenagers in a series of gruesome cult killings.
The remains of a 16-year-old boy and three girls aged 16 and 17 were discovered in a pit near the home of the alleged ringleader in the Yaroslavl region. The remains of a rat tied to an upturned cross marked the spot where they had been executed.
The eight suspected killers told police that they had stabbed their victims 666 times, in line with Satanic ritual, before cooking parts of their flesh over a bonfire to eat. Investigators found tufts of hair from the teenagers, in the ashes of the fire.
The victims, Varya Kuzmina, Anya Gorokhova, Olga Pukhova and Andrei Sorokin, were lured to their deaths in the woods after being plied with alcohol in a cemetery close to the home of the alleged gang leader Nikolai Ogolobyak.
They had apparently been singled out by the Satanists because they were fans of "Goth" music and fashion. One of the girls was said to have had a document titled "101 rules of Satanism" among her belongings.
The gang told police that their newest member, a 19-year-old university student, was coated in the blood of their victims as an initiation ceremony. The group then lit a fire and ate body parts before burying the dismembered remains.
The victims all went missing in June but police in Yaroslavl did not discover their remains until last month. They initially arrested four men and a woman, who led them to three others, including a man who had checked himself into a local psychiatric hospital.
The man, Anton Makovkin, allegedly claimed that Satan would help him to escape responsibility because he had made "many sacrifices to him". Another gang member, Alexander Voronov, told police in a statement that they had visited a cemetery in 2006 and dug up a fresh grave to eat the heart of a girl buried there.
The same group had also crucified a cat and attacked graves and crosses in the cemetery earlier this year before killing the teenagers. Police discovered the remains after learning that the victims had all made telephone calls to Mr Ogolobyak, a former church choirboy who called himself The Count.
Russia has a history of gruesome killings. The so-called "chessboard killer" Alexander Pichushkin was convicted of 48 murders and three attempted murders last October after he told a court that he had wanted to kill enough people to fill all 64 squares on a chessboard.
He claimed to have murdered 63 people in a bid to overtake the country's worst serial killer, the notorious "Rostov ripper" Andrei Chikatilo, who was executed by firing squad in 1994 for the deaths of 52 women and children. "

Review by Doctor Butcher D.M. nekrofilth adv demo Back in the 80's metal music began to erupt....much of the metal was thrash, death metal began to flourish.., but punk was still creating the battery that fueled many of these bands...aaaahhhhh...what happened to those days???? Most of these bands released great demo's, but then fell apart with studio releases (death/sacrifice/hellhammer and frost and the list goes forever)...But punk continued to bring the proverbial "middle finger" to the movement...Exploited's "horror epics" demolished, D.R.I. and Cryptic Slaughter and Accused showed that thrash and punk were stronger jumping the fence together..The bands were rough, sometimes presenting horrible sound quality or in some cases horrible musicianship (but not Cryptic Slaughter or Accused).., but they had power..One such band was Canada's Slaughter and another was Hellhammer and later Frost and never forget Venom..But, despite weaknesses in musicianship and sometimes sound quality they still hold one thing over current bands...the power to sell original releases at top dollar and maintain a steady following of loyal, diehard, and aging fans. Also, their songs stuck in your mind FOREVER!!!!!!!
Today there are many bands attempting to resurrect the "old" sound of yesteryear...the problem is most of these bands lack any originality..So, recently I obtained an advanced demo from Nekrofilth featuring Nunslaughter guitarist Zack.. At first listen, one is immediately reminded of Slaughter and older Frost..The vocals are definately Slaughter induced. But, after several listens, this 10 song demo begins to reveal other guises...This is what Slaughter might sound like today, slightly polished with advanced musicianship but other older infuences creep out too. More importantly, Nekrofilth maintains the main ingredient which was the catalyst for many of the similar sounding 80's bands...the punk element..It's all here, the simplistic, but powerful chords, the punk styled vocals and most importantly-the fuck you attitude!!!!!!The recording is actually decent, but still captures the rawness of the band rather than stripping them of it... Upon closer listen, there seems to be a culmination of other deep-bred musical styles..Listen closely and you may experience some song structures and notes displaying that overall Slaughter/Frost feel, but given less distortion are deeply rooted by even older pioneers in punk and even some darker classic rock.. It is evident that this particular lineup carries many influences across the board, but is it possible that a band can blend influences like Slaughter/Frost/ Minor Threat/Dead Kennedy's and even the under tone of older classic rock forefathers??? Well, listen for yourself..and listen closely.. A musician's influences always seep out one way or another.. and here is a great culmination of the best in simplistc yet powerful music covering a vast spectrum..You can take the music at face value or scratch a bit deeper..Either way any metal/thrash/death or punk fan will be sure to enjoy these songs...and if you don't FUCK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!! P.S. I have heard from respectable sources that Zack may be abusing steroids too!!!
