Bay Area-based production duo Me Gusta (Sean Richards & Dominic Lopez) is pushing the limits of today's musical boundaries. Built upon genres from across the spectrum, their intricately formed sounds compound to form tracks that force Me Gusta into a category all their own.

Formed in early 2008 by two best friends, the group humbly began as a collaboration to make music. The two strove for the best sounds that they could possibly produce while working from an outdated Mac rigged to a boombox. Although the setup was far from perfect, their hunger for more led them to create what would become their first tracks together.

As time passed, Me Gusta continued to strive towards bigger and better things, producing new music almost daily. They upgraded their tools and slowly began to be recognized as musical innovators among their peers. Over the course of 2008, Me Gusta released two remix compilations (Remixtape Vol. 1 & 2), as well as a plethora of original tracks to high acclaim. Gaining the trust and admiration of both fans and other artists alike, Me Gusta's musical talents have been steadily rising towards more positive ground.

Now 2009, Me Gusta continues to produce as much as possible and is currently working on new material. Every day is a new chance for them to connect with others through their music and spread their sound-waves towards creating more wealthy minds. With each track they hope to achieve a signature sound while still finding the beauty in bringing something new to the table. Although some might argue that it was already quite a feat for the pair to accomplish so much good in such a small amount of time, Me Gusta will always strive for the best.

With tools firmly in hand, creativity at its peak, and sound system at the ready, be prepared to hear a lot more noise from San Jose's Me Gusta.
