I'm sorry to say, but for all of you who went to the Cinderella show instead of the Halfshell, you missed out.  We had one of our best shows ever!!!  The Grinder boys fucking stomped, Chaos Theory killed it, and Kaustik started the night off right.  It was a blast, and thank all of you for coming out and showing the love for our boys from Philly, and our boys from NC.  It was a great night for all of us!!!

Current mood:  drained

Well, we left early today from SC so we could make it to Jacksonville NC on time.  We knew it was a long ass drive, but were excited because we would be seeing a few familiar faces again.  Well,  guess what, we ran late again.  Being on the road for a long time and driving is really starting to suck at this point.  Well, it turns out that the two bands we were supposed to play with, Loxstep and Downside, both broke up.  So, the club found a band called Foundry that was willing to help us out.   We had never heard of these guys before, but they introduced themselves to us when we walked in, and were really cool.  We did not expect a HUGE crowd tonight because Tantric was playing at Planet Rock, but we actually had a decent one.  Some people that had seen us at Planet Rock/Evans Blue show came out to see us, which was awesome, and our buddy Ryan (former Slave Machine) came out for the support as well.  Foundry opened, and they were awesome!!!!  The bassist was singing harmonies with the frontman and they were damn good.  We hadn't heard that from a guy band in a long time.  Not to leave out the drummer and guitarist though because they were very talented as well.  Needless to say we were quite impressed.  We had a good night as well.  I think we sounded pretty tight, since we had been playing all week, we were kinda used to play our set, so it went smoothly.  Alan was great, he helped me with my technical problems, and we hung out for a long time after we were done.  Travis showed up after the Planet Rock show, and so did Side Seat Driver and Creedence from 105.  It was so cool all of them came out just to say hi and hang out.  That is why we fucking love Jacksonville.  Lots of love!!  So it was a great night, and tomorrow we head out for Fayetteville........Military town!!!!  Woohoo.

Holy shit.  Halfway thru the tour.  Time flies when you are busting ass and having fun. It seemed like we were on the road for 5 million years.  We were all tired and then ended up on the road for 9 hours. We were wore the hell out.  We stopped by a BBQ place for dinner in town, and damn was it some of the best fucking BBQ we ever had.  We even got some dessert to eat later.  We were all fat and happy after that and off we went to get ready for the show.  The place was massive. And that was only the second room.  Not the main room.  The other bands that were supposed to play could not make it.  So it was the sound guys's acoustic act and us.  We went first.  There were a few locals out there that night, and my brother decided to come visit again.  We sounded great in that room.  And the staff there was really nice.  We felt very at home at that place even though it was HUGE.  Since my bro came to visit.....I got very trashed.  The girls said I was hitting on the female bartender and I was not aware that I was.  That is how trashed I got.  Wow.  Needless to say it was an awesome night, despite the small crowd.  The locals were great.  I am sorry if I forgot all your names, but I was drunk and my memory seems to fail me that night obviously. Mr. Minchow is one of the coolest dudes I have ever met.  Nice and sincere.  If you all are ever in the spartanburg area, you have got to see a show there.   Next stop..........Jacksonville NC!!  Our second home. : )

Daytona..........here we come!!.  Since it was only an hour away, we decided we needed to do laundry and do a little some siteseein'.  St. Augustine was where we stopped.  It was an awesome sunny day outside so that was cool.  We checked out the oldest fort, walked thru the shopping plaza, went to a pirate store, and Ripley's museum.  Then we ate at this restaurant called Columbia.  The food was awesome, but it took like 5 hours to get it.  So if you are starving don't ever go there or you will be dead by the time they serve you.  hahahha.  Anyways, off to the do laundry and then Seabreeze.  Well, we could tell it was going to be an interesting night when we tried to call the club to tell them that we were going to be running a little late............and the phone number was disconnected.  uh oh.  Well, we get a call from the club later asking if we were still coming, and that people were asking about us, and we were like yeah.........but we couldn't let you know cause your phone was disconnected.........

So anyways.....we get to the club and suprise suprise!! Alan from ex-Nemesis shows up.  How fucking cool to see an old friend!!  The crappy thing was, he told us that the club said that we weren't playing when he asked.  That was baffling since they called and asked us to see if we were coming......Then we found out that ED Rocker drove up like 3 hours to come see us play...........they told him the same thing...............and my friend Butch drove from orlando to see us play and they told him we weren't playing either.....What the fuck.  We couldn't believe they were turning away our fans.  That was sucky.

So we hung out with just Alan and our new buddies Lunacy Driven, because they were playing with us again. Yeah!!!  Alan even taped our show for us, and told us about FL and how he missed everyone in VA Beach, awwww.  We also had the "People under the stairs boys" show up.  That was cool too.   Them Lunacy Driven boys, and Murdock and Spud again showing mad support for us.  They are such awesome fucking guys.  The club was small, and there was only one mic, but we still kicked ass.  It was hot and sweaty.  We have never been so stinky on a tour before. HAHAHAAH.  Lunacy Driven boys kicked ass again.  And it was time to go home.  Tomorrow would be the dreaded 9hour drive.  Time to rest up.

5/29- The Pit, (Brewster's Pit) Jacksonville, FL

Woohoo, we are in FL!! It was hot, humid and muggy, but it was sunny and beautiful there!! No rest for the weary. We checked to see where the club was at and then went and got ready. When we got to the club, I think a few bands ended up cancelling out, so it ended up being like only 4 bands that played. It was Motis Operanda, ( I think) Grab bag, us, and then Lunacy Driven. Those Grab bag guys were very entertaining, and played old school punk. It was pretty cool!! I felt like skating again when I listened to them. It was memorial day, so the crowd was small, but hell, we were ready to rock!! We had Murdock and Spud from "The People under the stairs" mag come out just to check us out. They were very eccentric but nice guys. We did an interesting interview about cheese and then it was time to play. The stage was awesome. It reminded me of the blues brothers, cause it was surrounded by a chain-linked fence. We played a pretty good show, we had lots of love and support from Murdock and spud, and the Lunacy Driven crew. Then they came on. What an awesome band. The energy and the music were great!! Those guys were so fucking cool too. They were just some positive dudes, it was contagious. The club was really cool they were so nice to us. We would definitely go back again!! We had a blast on a Monday!!

5/28- The Money.

We were on the road for most of the day to get down to the joint.  Had no idea what-so-ever on how long it would take really!!  When we got there, we had to go straight to the club for the meeting, because we had draw to see who went at what time.  Well, well,,,,,,,,,,,,we got first.  They were really cool to let us go change at the hotel and come back.  We were stinky and dirty from driving in like 90degree weather all day, but we played our asses off.  And to think we were stinky the day before!!  It turned out to be a good night for us because we won staff's choice and made it to the next level.  The fucking staff was awesome........they bought us shots and got us trashed.  My brother also came to visit so that didn't help matters.   The bands were also awesome.  All of them super cool and everyone cheered each other on even though it was a competition.  True camaraderie there!! We also met like the tallest dudes I have EVER seen in my life.  They were like 6'11" and 6'10".  I felt like a fucking midget!!! haha.  Anyways,  it was a great night and a great place to play.  If you are ever in Rock hill, be sure to visit the Money because that place kicks major ass!!!

Well Well, we are finally back from our week of causing havoc, and I tell you, did we not have a great fucking time!!!!  Here's the beginning of our story, I will probably have a few posts since we had so much to tell!!

5/27- Salty Dawg in New Bern.  Wow........Don't we feel out of place.  We were a little worried because everyone we played with was an emo band!!  Uh Oh!! But you know what?  They were all so damn cool to us.  We wanted to thank Naralis, Breaking the Girl, and Scarlett Undercover for making us feel welcome and at home there.  It was a hot and humid day, so we were very sweaty after playing.  It think that was the freakin' sweatiest and stinkiest I have ever gotten before!!  The club and staff were all really nice, I got to stamp a Bully Girl head on people so that was cool. HAHAHA.  Thanks Cliff for having us.  And damn it.........there was a band from New York that we met that also played and they were cool as shit...but my crappy memory made me forget their name!!  So if you read this boys........feel free to smack me.  I am sorry!!
