Well, we just had Hunter's 1st Birthday Party.  It's hard to believe that one year has went by so fast!  He's turned into such a little man!!

Also, some other excellent news.  My diet on Atkins has been going great.  In exactly 3 weeks, I have lost 15 pounds.  I am so proud of myself!  I have to keep my updates on here... (even though most of you don't really care lol), but it helps to keep myself motivated.

Hope everyone is doing great!

Well, we're at week one of the weight-loss competition at work.  I have officially lost 2 pounds.  Yay!     There is over $200 on the line for whoever wins the biggest percentage of weight in 3 months.  I like competition and I like money.  ha.
I'm feeling pretty good about myself so far.  But for all of my Oreck friends - you have to sabatoge Mary.  lol  *JUST KIDDING*  She lost 5 pounds this week!    *Go Mary*  We're both fighting to win this money - and weight.  It's a win-win situation!
So, I guess this is a pretty pointless blog... maybe it's just to keep up with my own weight-loss, and for my own motivation.  Yeah.  That's probably it.
Well friends, I'll update in a couple weeks with my new total lost... and if anyone has any great weight-loss methods, diet plans or excercise advise - comment here.
p.s. I hope everyone is having a Great New Year so far!

Since when is it ok for every single Christian to have THEIR rights taken away?  You walk in a store, sit at work or talk in a restaurant and you hear people cuss, talk about sex and anything else they want to talk about... but then, when ONE person doesn't want "Merry Christmas" said because it has the word "CHRIST" in it and they're "offended" - We have to call the Christmas Tree a HOLIDAY TREE instead, and say Happy HOLIDAYS instead of Merry Christmas.

I'm so irritated right now.  I sit at work everyday and hear many peoples opinions on politics, religion and so many other things - that's THEIR opinion.  Everyone has them, and a lot of the times I disagree with the stuff I hear or may even be offended, but come on...

Our whole nation was based on religious ideology, and now they're wanting to take Christ out of every aspect of our life.  Christ is the meaning and reason for CHRISTMAS!  Well I tell you what, this year I'm going to tell people Merry Christmas as much as possible, because I'm sick of having my rights taken away from me!

I hope everyone else that feels this way will do the same!

HAVE A MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Why is it when you feel things are just about as bad as they can get, and then - they get worse.  It seems that when you're having one of your worst days (or sometimes weeks), someone will sense it and take complete and total advantage of it.  It's as if they're waiting to make it worse for you... waiting for your most vulnerable moment... I'm sure it just feels like this... or maybe not...  When you're at the point of breaking, what do you do?  *take a deep breathe - a moment of silence - thank God... because it could be worse - and pray for a better day tomorrow* ... sometimes that is easier said than done.

Does it seem that it's usually the people closest to you that hurt you the worst?  Why are we always so quick to anger and so slow to forgive?  Can a relationship - friends or family - withstand anything?  How much is too much?  How long can anger stay in any relationship before it deteriorates it?

And why is it that we feel when things get about as bad as they can get that we finally need to go to God for his assistance in the situation?  Why didn't we ask from the very beginning?  I know that I sometimes use God as a last resort instead of my first resort.  This in itself makes me very sad.

I probably don't make very much sense to some of you... and that's ok.  I just needed to get this out.  I've had a very bad week, and feel very sad right now.    Maybe it's just the winter months setting in... that alone is a very depressing setting to me.

Ever wake up with a pinch to the neck and pull of the hair?  Well my whole night consisted of my little guy crawling over to my side of the bed and pinching, poking and pulling at me.  It's funny how my sleep used to only be interrupted for the occasional nightime bathroom visit, a midnight snack, or from the snoring of my husband.  But now when waking up at 2:00, 2:30, 3:45, and 5:00 - rolling over to his sweet little smile - it makes me smile... even if my contacts are so stuck to my eyes and I can barely make out the time the clocks says.

He has two little teeth now and he's trying to crawl.  He's almost 8 months old and he's already breaking my heart by getting so big.
Where does the time go?  I think we all need to remember to cherish each moment we have with the people we love.  Time flies by way too fast not to take advantage of the time we have together!

Well, unfortunately it looks like it will be just a little bit longer before we move.  The people who put a contract in on the house had a bad accident and can't close by the time they were supposed to... so, needless to say I'm not happy, but it will allow us some extra time to get things packed and put in storage.

We've found a lot of homes we love, and hope to purchase one of them!  It's just a wait and see now.  But, we're going to be getting rid of a lot of stuff in our house... so if anyone needs anything - I may have it!  I've also got a lot of baby items that need to go... clothes, carseats, bassinet, etc.

So, wish us luck.  I think it's a pretty good sign that it hasn't been up for sale long, and the first people who viewed it put in a contract on it.  My fingers are crossed.  Also, I've applied for a new job - working at home with a call center - I hope I get it!  =]

Well, looks like we're gonna be out of this little town.  Our house sold after being listed for less than a month.  We are very happy.  Anyone got any suggestions on a nice town/state to move to?!

Basically wanted to announce the good news!

I'm going to post some new pictures of my little Hunter later, but I just wanted to let everyone know how well he is doing.

You would never know he had the surgery if it weren't for the incision scar.  His hair is growing back so fast... looking like it may get darker like his daddys.  =]  He's also sitting up on his own... well not totally, but he's almost there.

So basically, he's growing like a weed and doing great!

Hi friends!  I just wanted to let all of you know how much I appreciate the money you took up for me.  It was very sweet, and meant so much to me.  Sometimes you don't realize how many people care sometimes until something like this happens.  Anyways, I just wanted to say thanks to all of you!

Love you guys!

Well we're on day 6 in the hospital with Hunter.  I'm not going to lie, sleeping in chairs, getting next to no sleep, hearing alarms go off all night, and hospital food... wow, they've really made my stay a little less than... perfect.    But the good new is that my little boy is doing 100% perfect.

I feel so blessed to have my family.  I'm so looking forward to the months ahead.  The thoughts of moving makes me a little nervous, but Adam is ready and I'll be right beside him antisipating the absolute best for us!  It will be quite an experience, but one I'm looking forward to.

Know of anyone wanting to buy a house?  We have one for sale!!

3 Bedrooms, 2 Full Baths, Split Floor Plan, Tray Ceiling in the Master Bedroom, Vessel Faucets in the Master Bath, 2 1/2 Acres, and a Garage that is optional.  Asking $120,000.  It's on the market, if you want the realtors name, please message me!
