So today i start the sketch a day program to help work on my speed!!!  the first sketch i did was the joker cause im REALLY excited the movie comes out on DVD tomorrow!!!  im not sure if anyone actually reads my blogs but that alright.......my feelings arent hurt.........(sob)........oh yeah you can check it out on my pics under the sketch a day album!!!!

So the Sac-Con is right around the corner and once again I'll be hanging with the ECVpress crew!  This time is a little more exciting for me though cause I'll be par-taking in a panel Q and A session.  Should be alot of fun.  Nu and Ben will be talking about the Hank Houston project and where that stands, his line of comics and web comics brought to you by ECVpress and we will be discussing a new anthology Nu, Ben and myself are working on.  Dont want to give away to many details right now just because its the early stages of the creative process.  I will tell you its one book with three different high octane stories.  For more info on Nu and Bens stories check out thier myspace pages but as for mine ( i wont be shy) I'll give you a few details (and I mean few).  It's a western set just after the civil war.  I'm writing the first issue but after that I'm handing the writing chores over to the mover and shaker known as Drake!  His myspace page is somewhere on the bottom of my top friends.  He'll be writing a three issue story arce for me which should be exciting.  Hopefully if things are going fairly well and theres interest in the anthology we'll just keep this ship a'sailing for as long as we can!!!  For more info on the Sac-con their myspace page is also on my friends list so take a look and check it out!!!  Hope to see you all there!!!

So the new Kill Rich vol. 2 pic is done and if i dont mind saying so i think it looks amazing!!!  Still need to put the wording in but it exceeded my expectations times ten!  Nu (who is the first person on my friends list) did the colors and soon to be lettering.  He continues to make my artwork look so much better than it really is, thanks Nu!!!  So check it out let me know what you think and yes the prints will be available at the San Jose toy/comic show this weekend, ha!  Well back to the ol' drawing board!!!

Wow!!!  So I just got the new Campbell sketchbook Faces in the mail the other day, holy crap, this is how a sketchbook should be done.  Every page is beautiful.  His use of different colors of paper and different color highlights is amazing.  He even manages to make smurfette look super hot (for a cartoon, i mean who has crushes on cartoons right?  not me....yeah......right.....) and he even has a Jessica Rabbit.....so hot!!!  So anyways the point of this blog is to pick it up if you havent already.  Its worth double the asking price!!!

So channel 13 did a piece on the Hank Houston project and wanted to talk to a few of the local artist in sacramento.  It was such an awsome expierence!!!  Thanks to Ben for letting me be apart of it.  The taping took about two hours and during all that time i felt a little like a celeb.  Its really interesting to see all the work that goes into a 2 min news piece.  I mean 2 min worth of air time is like 2 hours worth of taping and who knows how long worth of editing.  The news 13 guy (Carl Lemon) did an incredible job and made the whole process so easy.  Pual (another local artist) and i were the two artsist interviewed and Ben did his thing for Hank Houston.  Unfortuntatly Nu, the co-creator of Hank, was unable to participate due to job training classees that were scheduled that day.....missed ya Nu!!!
