Hey, just so you know.. A lot of bands have people make them band signs.. and I used to oppose that kinda stuff.. but actually, if you want to send me band signs or you grafittying Scissor Shock somewhere or.. anything that involves this band in some way, go ahead. Don't simply write "Scissor Shock" on your boobs and send it though. That's okay, but I want it to be a LITTLE more creative than that.. I.E. wear something nice. Thanks... -ac

Myspace has like 500 genre classification options but stuff like "Noise" and "No Wave" aren't on there (but "Crunk" and "Ghettotronicica" or some bullshit is). So hmm. I want to let everyone know right now that we aren't egrind. We've had elements of egrind in our music, but I haven't really identified with that genre in forever. Almost all the bands just ripped off Kindergarten Hazing Ritual, Gigantic Brain, Hara Kari Kitty, or us anyway. Haha. Any band that claims to be egrind without a bit of humor attached to that statement is... a band not worth checking out! But, in all seriousness, egrind fans and message board peeps are the coolest people I've met, and there are some amazing people in that scene (and also some huge lying idiotic assholes -- you know who you are), so fuck any haters. I'm not a hater, I just don't think we can be called egrind anymore.. So, anyway, I don't really know if there's a way to classify us or why you'd want to try. But a friend said to me: "progressive noise". I like that. Fuck ya.
