1. Dirty Fuzz play loud and proud unpretentious rock. They are Londoners who represent the working man and all those girls and boys who struggle.

2.Dirty Fuzz were the first unsigned band to play a legendary TV show called Rockpalast. All major bands such as The Who, The Stones, Guns n roses, Pearl Jam, Velvet Revolver , The Police have played this show. www.rockpalast.de

3. Basement Jaxx love Dirty Fuzz and they even borrowed Elida Zulu(singer) to feature as lead vocalist on their track 'Everybody' 

 4. Elida Zulu is a children's nurse by day and rock n roll godess at night. She is one of the only people in UK who can justify drinking in the morning........apart from alcoholics 

5.Dirty Fuzz have been going for 4 years and are influenced by the grind that is London life, all the black pioneers of rock n roll, The stones, Led Zepp, James Brown, Lauryn Hill, Miles Davies, Chet Baker etc

6.Andy Morrison (Guitars) uses a Les Paul guitar at all times

7 Dan(drummer) who is also classified as a giant in the UK has played with Motorhead's Lemmy

8.Mydi James (Bass) is obsessive. He buys a bass in every city the band travel to. But he only ever plays one......the fender! 

9. Even though independent with no manager or label, Dirty Fuzz have toured around the world in beautiful cities such as Berlin, Hamburg, Paris, Bordeaux, Munich,Dresden, Amterdam Austin, New York. They have played Major festivals including SXSW, CMJ and Glastonbury.

10.Dirty Fuzz have recorded an album called 'Rocksploitation' and it was inspired by 'Shaft' a blacksploitation movie with Isaac Hayes.(RIP). The album with be available soon for download and then in the shops!     

Z.Cavarrici literally dressed me up in their cool jeans at CMJ 2008. They have to be one of the best fitting jeans in the business.

 Also a big thanks to London underground fashion for the boots. You guys made me look so sexy. Unfortunately i couldnt pull cuz i was too off my face.

 So, Dirty Fuzz is back from New York (CMJ festival) and it was mad and baaaad ass. We played with  Scouting for Girls and Friendly fires, the first night and then for me, the party really began the following night when we played the Our stage party(real rawdy rock crowd)

I sold my soul to the devil for 2 days before i went to CMJ, so i guess i will appear on some TV show on T4 tommorrow. They hate my guts those cats.........why do they pretend to love me????

I mean am a rock n roll bitch most times,  I really like to speak my mind and fuck every one else. I speak thruth cuz i believe it sets as all free.

New York City brotha's and sista's yeeeeaaaaah here we come. Rawktober!!!! CMJ looks mad, bad and R.A.D.I.C.A.L. We will be doing Jazz, Rock, Empire State, Times Sq, Greenwich V, Sohooooooooooooo, Aaaaaaaalem an all!!!

If i stood here today and said that i was going to change the world and it will be a better place, i would be telling a load of bollox. Even Jesus could not change the world, but instead the world tried to change him....(the last temptation and all). Should these young gangs try and change us and the way we live. I mean, i find it hard to get a bus after 10pm these days coz as a girl, you just never know. 

Anyway, some of you may know that am a rock n roll singer as well as a children's nurse on a part time basis at a London hospital. I love kids.

I have nursed young punks with stab wounds as a result of knife crime and it sucks. One particular boy, 15 yrs old, came in with a stab wound to his heart and he stayed in hospital for zonks. He needed a chest drain etc.

I know this one thing, we are living in a time when kids have such an identity crisis. They are not guided or told who they are by their parents and as a result, they are guided by the media or they join gangs to feel a part of a culture. What a disaster.

Parents are just giving names to their kids and leaving it at that. Who are these kids.  

Music will unite communities and make people feel that they belong to something. Music can break through barriers.

August 7th is a time when we launch 'Drop Your Knife and Pick Up a Guitar'

We will bring the house down with rock n roll, soul, hip-hop and grime.

Sway may show up to give us a little grime,

Then we have Visitor Q, a very talented bunch from London

Dirty Fuzz will give you a treat as usual. The backing singers from the famous London gospel community choir will be with us.

We are coming to New York for CMJ 2008!!!!!

Rock n roll baby, that is what we bring. 

Yeah lovvers of rock we are in the studio for next couple of weeks layin down some sheeeeet!!! We then go to Germany and France where they really dig  rock n roll from the soul!! Maybe we'll even play locally too and pound the airwaves with something that'll scare the indie jokers that dominate our world so pervasively at present! And whose fault is that! But good luck to em anyway!!

I have no care for the UK music Industry.....Ok, i have very little respect for it.... particularly the $£$£ers working in it.. The UK sold about 32% of the world's records, particulary in the biggest market, the USA, and now it 's down to a miserable 0.7%. What a surprise!

Most bands that helped put the UK market on the map had talent. We can start from Led Zepp, The Stones,AC/DC to  Coldplay, Radiohead etc. I mean if black people, asians, and latinos, who wouldnt normally buy rock music can run to go and buy your rock album, it tells you something. One can not fabricate that. Yet still, all these public school, coke snorting lazy ass, A&R think they can just sit on their ass, and manunfacture rock bands. Oh they dont even do that, they leave it to their mates or managers. Why go out and discover talent when someone else can do it for you. Its too hard.

I think there is a place for joke bands like the Horrors, but Jesus, did they really think that is a band you can try and sell in the USA or anywhere.They were plain shit at SXSW 2007. What an embarrassment for a country with a rich rock n roll history.

But not anymore, the world is fast becoming a smaller place. Bands dont have to stay unnoticed in the UK music industry. Thanks to easy access to Europe...Germany, thanks to myspace even.

You get travel for next to nothing and get attention where A&R are doing their jobs right because they  care about making money and most of all giving punters good value for their cash.

So Dirty Fuzz have done that......

We are being televised on National TV in Germany. The show has had all my fav rock bands on it, including Guns and Roses, Rahiohead, REM etc.

Playing SXSW has led to a great US label seriously talking about offering a worldwide deal. Fingers crossed.  

Everybody wins, especially the punters here who have supported us and come to every gig! We have you to thank. And all the lazy ass bitches lose.

Well, what can i say, i love Austin, Texas. We drunk and played pretty much everyday and men, those guys love their rock.

Its pretty grim to come to London i must admit. I think we could learn a few things about real bands from Austin. Aah well, going to do the TV show this thurs in Germany is a comfort. It will be a live show full of mostly 'up for it' students in Harmonie! I can t wait.

Thursday we fly out with the backing singers......more drinks, more craziness.

Friday 23rd march, we play Crossroads-Harmonie.
