Yeah, we're breaking up.

No hard feelings or anything of the sort. We just decided to stop and move on.  We've been in this band since our freshman year of high school and we're ready to do new things. We will however be playing a final show December 27th. And TYLER WILL BE PLAYING just in case any one is wondering. We want to leave this how we started it...

...for the first time...ever.

I watched the election day coverage for the most part alone last night. My mom stuck it out for a while but ended up sleeping for most of it...

By the time it was over, it seemed too late to call any of my friends or family. But it didn't really bother me. It seemed like such a victory for everyone (even those who believe the exact opposite) that it didn't even need to be discussed. I couldn't sleep because I just genuinely felt good.

When's the last time that you felt "good" about your president or any government official for that matter? I don't think I ever have. By the time I was old enough to care, it felt like we were just all fucked.

I woke up and walked outside to drive home and just smiled the whole time. I can't help but feel hopeful. Our problems won't be fixed in the next 4 years but I think think this is the best start we could have. And that is far beyond exciting.

I'm currently in the process of getting recording started and hopefully things won't take very long. In the mean time, I just finished my first "video" for the song "Whose Side You're On". Directed by Tyler Jones and edited by Mike Snyder. Let me know what you think of it.

Other than that, lots of stuff beginning but not a lot ready. Sign up for the email list and I'll let you know when things get done as they get done. By 2009 I plan on having my first album released and being on tour.
