‘Its You’ and Special Edition release of ’New Red Dress’

'Its You' is officially out today and if you haven't yet downloaded the single, which is the music to the campaign for animal charity PDSA, (you may have already heard it on their tv advert on channels 4 & 5) then please download the single via either my shop or directly at www.pdsasong.org.uk. The download will cost 50p and all profits from the single will go to the PDSA.

I will also be releasing a brand new special edition of my debut album 'New Red Dress' on December 1st, which will include 'Its You' and will be available to buy online and in stores. You can pre order the special edition at the following stores, HMV, Play and Amazon.

Matthew Jay Concert This Friday

Quick reminder to say that I will be playing at the Matthew Jay Tribute concert this Friday at The Shepherds Bush Empire. Tickets are available at www.ticketweb.co.uk and proceeds will go to Unicef and Amnesty International.

There will also be performances from Chris Difford (Squeeze), James Walsh(Starsailor), Kathryn Williams & Neill Maccoll, Passenger, Henrik, Dlugokecki, Vasco and The Matthew Jay Band.

Competition Terms and Conditions
1. This competition runs from 3rd September 2008 until 12th September 2008, the closing date for entries being 12th of September 2008. No entries will be accepted as eligible after midday on this closing date.

2. If you are under the age of eighteen (18) you must obtain permission from your parent or guardian before you enter this competition.

3. Only one entry will be accepted per person for this competition, and this will be the first entry received.

4. The competition prizes are as follows: a pair of tickets to see Helen Boulding at The Bedford, London on the 16th September 2008. The winner must make their own way to the gig.

5. The prize winners will be drawn at random from all the correct entries and will be contacted by email/telephone. Only the winners will be contacted personally.

6. The prize must be taken as stated and cannot be deferred. There will be no cash alternative. Once prizes have been allocated and despatched they cannot be transferred. Maid In Sheffield reserves the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value at any time.

7. Maid In Sheffield does not accept any responsibility for late or lost entries. Maid In Sheffield shall not be held responsible for any inability to submit entries as a result of computer service, systems and or server failure, error, interruption, defect or delay or any other technical malfunction. Proof of sending is not proof of receipt.

8. Entrants must supply full details as required above, and comply with all rules to be eligible for prize(s). No responsibility is accepted for ineligible entries or entries made fraudulently. Deeming an entry void is at Maid In Sheffield's absolute discretion.

My final Caffe Nero gig

Hey Everyone

At 16.00pm last friday 29th August, I completed my caffe nero tour in Farnham (Surrey) - this was my final and 80th caffe!!!......someone ring the guiness book of records and find out if we qualify!

Thank you to all of you who came. It was a wonderful experience. Now I am going to sleep for a while - not!

Was in the studio on Saturday recording a brand new song, 'Its You' - coming soon. Watch this space!
