We just want to take this opportunity to thank all of you who have recently added us on MySpace! We love making new friends! Our page has been completely redone and we are really enjoying it! It's great to know that we've got just more way to reach the community that we are apart of...ONLINE! We also want each and every one of you to know that we love you and if you haven't visited with us yet, we hope you make the decision to do so!
Now, some of you as members or regular attenders of CCC might be saying, "What can I do to spread the word on MySpace about CCC?" Well we have a few different ways you can do that! The first of which is to start telling your friends to check out our page! You can send them comments or messages like this:
Hey Friend! I just wanted to let you know that my church that I tell you about all the time is now on MySpace, and I'd love for you to take a look at their page! Here's the link: www.myspace.com/coastcommunitychurch! Just click that link or copy the text into your browser's address bar!

Obviously you'll want to put that in your own words and replace the word "friend" with the person's name, but it's a start!
The next thing you can do is to post this banner in your profile somewhere. It gives the direct link to our website www.CoastCommunityChurch.net. Here's the banner:

We also have header banner that you can place in your profile. This banner will go above everything else on your page including MySpace's ads. If you'd like the code for that, just send an email over to brian.odowd@coastcommunitychurch.net, message us with your email address, or comment this blog with your email address, and we'll send you the code for it. It's the same one that is on our profile right now. This banner also gives a direct link to CCC's website.
Remember, the goal of this MySpace is to get people interested in our church by reading the information on this page, but also to get them to check out our website for more information so as to ultimately get them to visit our church! The more people you talk to about us, the more people will come. And the more people the come, the more we can lead to a saving knowledge of Christ. And THAT is what truly matters most!!!
The next thing you can do as a member is to send us your pictures of things you have done or people you've been in ministry with actually doing your ministry at CCC or in the community. We want people to not only read about what we have accomplished but to be able to see that in pictures as well. If you have any pictures from Mission Trips, church events, regular service, or just hanging out with friends in your communities or at the facility, SEND THEM TO US! Post them to your image hosting site of choice (Photobucket, ImageShack, etc) and then send them to us in comments, messages, or even in a blog comment right here in this blog!
It's all about spreading the name of Jesus Christ and that's what we want to accomplish through this page! We love you all! Be blessed to be a blessing!!!
