He is going to be driving us and doing FOH in the future so we'll still be hanging out loads it's all cool :) Go and wish him well and if you ever need and tour manager / sound guy / driver.. hit him up.

Current mood: hungover
Hey, I am not quite sure if people still read MySpace blogs or if anyone still uses MySpace that much anymore but, really just to say that we are still alive. And just about well, I am definitely enjoying the Sun, I need the Sun in my life so it's nice when it comes out and is bright for a long time. What a depressing thought thought that the days arwe drawing shorter and shorter already. Last night I went out for a few drinks with a friend called Jamie and we ended up drinking Jagermeister in a gay bar with Jack Penate and his band, I've never really been a big fan of his music but I watched him play to a sold out Roadmender last night and he did put on a good show, and his band we really good - and nice.
In the world of The All New Adventures Of Us things are starting to gather a little more pace, we have finished some demos for the next record and are starting to rehearse them as seven people in one room with instruments. Maybe six people for a couple of months as Jay is going to America for that time to hang out with some friends and generally take a break I think... so I do hope he has a good trip. We are going to carry and write some music and arrange some stuff and jam out some ideas and hope that Jay comes home with some great stories to put the music to. That is my plan.I hope we can play a few live shows soon, I am aching to get back on stage.. I mean I have been on stage with other bands and played here and there but to play on a stage as The All New Adventures Of Us is ultimately the thing that is missing in my life at the moment, so hopefully the wheels will start rolling and we can play soon.
Another thing, last September just before Tanaou hit the road with The Spinto Band, Jay and Myself went to Oslo to record a Remarkable Rocket album with Kenneth Ishak. We pretty much did a whole album in about 5 days which was awesome, we've started jamming that with some other local musicians and it's starting to sound pretty killer. we actually have a show on saturday night at The Fishmarket in Northampton town, it's £3 to get in and there are other people playing so pop down.
One last thing, Chris Rab and Phil are all going skydiving in a couple of weeks for the really great charity of Caudwell Children, who basically help out mentally and physically disabled children, go to chris' just giving page here ' www.justgiving.com/chris_tanaou to donate a few beans, props to them for doing it they have all raised quite a bit so between them should actually be able to make a difference which is great. I would have done it but it dawned on me that I hate flying as it is, and the thought of hurling myself out of a plane makes me feel sick. And I'd have probably soiled myself too which wouldn't have been cool. But the point is. SPONSOR them.
That's all for now, I hope everyone is looking forward to the An Escape Plan record because it's going to melt your heart and replace it with a big beating shining ball of sunrays. or something to that effect.
Cheers then, thanks a lot.
Cheers,
Nic xo

hey guys, Apologies if we have been a little quiet recently. To be honest we have probably never been busier. We have been locked in our rehearsal room for weeks now which we have also built a studio of sorts, complete with a microwave, a toaster and a kettle. strong coffee and a bombay bad boy pot noodle is what i had yesterday. We have been demoing some new material for our next album which is so exciting, it's sounding really really great. At the moment it is sounding like a vague cross between early Guillemots, Jackson Browne, U2 and maybe Fleetwood Mac. But New. I really can't wait for you to hear it :) We will be playing some more shows in the summer with the new material along with older songs from our debut album. So keep your eyes peeled and your ears to the ground.
In other new Conor Oberst has a new record out under 'The Mystic Vallery Band' and it is well worth a listen indeed. it's phenomenal.
Thanks and enjoy the sun. the actual sun, not the paper.

Hello, hello, hello. I came home ill from work today, after throwing up in the toilet, i thought that'd make me feel better, i ate a mars bar and a drank a tin of pop to get some sugar back into but that still didn't work. so i came home again, i might sit in the sun. On Monday (March 23rd) our new single called 'St Crispin's Got Our Backs' is released via One Little Indian, on the formats of 7'' vinyl and download. We're pretty excited about this, as also coming out are the B side covers we recorded of local friends bands Kapowski and An Escape Plan. :) who are both fantastic. There is a minisite which will tell you everything about the single and will let you hear the B sides. And also (most importantly) show you where to get your hands on the single! And I do hope you would buy it. It's gonna be the last single from the album. We've already started writing the second one. And we're definitely enjoying sinking our teeth into writing again, i hope it will be great. Anyway, the link to the St Crispins Minisite is here ::// http://www.indian.co.uk/tanaou/st_crispins/ We also shot a video for the single back on such a cold day in january i think. I think it must have been close to 0 degrees. anyway, the finished product shot by James Lockey, is here ::// thanks a lot :) love from Nic & The All New Adventures Of Us // xo

Hey guys, it's with great sadness, disappointment, regret and frustration we're announcing that we're being forced to pull out of our tour with Sam Isaac. The reason being is our drummer Rab, is suffering from quite a bad kidney infection, and is really not capable of touring. He dragged himself to a rehearsal 2 days ago and could hardly play. It's a real bummer but i suppose nothing can be done about it, and as it's such short notice we're unable to make alternative arrangements. Our absolute apologies go out to anyone that has bought a ticket to see us, or anyone that was planning on going to one of the shows and most of all the brilliant Sam Isaac who we were all really looking forward to sharing a week with. But all is not lost, as Sam will still tour the country, and I can't urge you enough to go and see him play. He is really brilliant. Please forward this message to anyone you know that might have been going to a show and let them know we won't be playing, but to still go and watch Sam. Support now comes from the lovely Jose Vanders. Once again please accept our sincerest of apologies and know that we're the most frustrated of anyone at the situation! We hope Rab gets well soon, so we can organise some more dates with Sam. oh yes, we will. Take care and be well, The All New Adventures Of Us / xo

Current mood: virginal
Hello there, I hope everyone is well, is well as can be. I suppose if you live anywhere in the UK you've probably had a lot of snow recently, and although this is snow time to be making stupid puns about the weather, i for one loved making an igloo and snowball fighting with my good friends in the park whilst i was getting paid for it. My mum called me on friday morning to say that she had measured it on her patio table and it was 7'' worth. in little over 24 hours. That's the most we've had for years I think. Yesterday Sam Isaac shot a video in our rehearsal room for his new single out in March, I found myself with a really expensive camera also filming him and his band play to aid the dierctor. I was stood on top of a PA speaker which wasn't the most sturdy of foundations. But enjoyable nonetheless. There was a lot of feathers. So, well, Sam Isaac and The All New Adventures Of Us tour together in March for a nice run of dates in intimate venues across the country that will probably be the last time you can us play songs from our current album Best Loved Goodnight Tales for a while, we're writing new songs and will possibly treat you to one or two on this tour. possibly. The dates are like this :::: ///// Mar 6 - Roadmender, NorthamptonMar 7 - Cabaret Voltaire, Edinburgh Mar 9 - City Screen Basement, York Mar 10 - Old Blue Last, London Mar 11 - Louisiana, Bristol Mar 12 - Soul Tree, Cambridge Mar 13 - TBC, TBC Mar 14 - The Cockpit, Leeds
Hopefully you'll be able to make it to one of the shows, or maybe more. Our next single 'St Crispin's Got Our Backs' is also out in March with two lovely B Side Covers we did of songs by local legends Kapowski and An Escape Plan. Take care and be well, Love, Nic & The All New Adventures Of Us / xo www.onelittleindian.co.uk www.onelittleshop.com www.myspace.com/samisaac

Whilst we're putting together artwork and b sides for our next single we realised that post Xmas we'd been a little remiss in staying in touch. We've added live videos of previous single "Firetruck (doki doki)" and "A Good Liar, Is A Good Storyteller" from a live show in Paris, where we supported The Spinto Band at the end of last year.
We hope you like it. We'll be in touch soon with release news and tour dates in the meantime...
Be well xo
