Hey everyone.

First off, after 5 straight weeks on the CMJ Hip-Hop top 20, Vaguest Vacation just received a fantastic review at PopMatters.com, so please go give it a read if you don't believe me.

Second, Vaguest Vacation is finally available for online download!  In addition to iTunes, you can get it here on my MySpace page, so please get a copy...  if you're a traditional CD kind of person, check out CDBaby.com/DomerMusic.

That's about it.... the big album release party on the Knitting Factory Mainstage is coming up, so NYC friends please come out and celebrate with me.  I'll be performing songs from Vaguest Vacation with my live project the Sweat Band.

See you soon, and hope you all like the music.  And of course, My Favorite Mixtape is available HERE for free download to accompany the My Favorite EP remix project, which came out awesome.  GO VISIT THE REMIX PROJECT.

Thanks everyone!

Peace,
domer

Hey friends!

So my new album "Vaguest Vacation" has officially hit radio and has started at 22! That's pretty swell if you ask me.

Though the record doesn't officially drop until April 8, you can cop a pre-release copy here at http://cdbaby.com/cd/domermusic! But don't tell... it will soon be available on iTunes and everywhere else digitally as well, so be the first to get one and spread the word!

Domer - Vaguest Vacation
Review By Matt Conley, southcoast247.com National Correspondent

Domer - Vaguest Vacation Combining bumping tempos with an array of vocal styles, Domer's Vaguest Vacation delivers a wide variety of sounds that drift between alternative rock and electronic and many other genres. From track to track you really never know what to expect, which becomes the mystery of this interesting album. One moment you could be relaxing to the cool vibes of "What We're Gonna Do" and the next you could be tempted to move to the hip-hop-inspired "Get Through This."

FRIENDS AND FAM:

I just began this awesome remix project and I want everyone to be involved! As far as I know, nothing like this has ever been done, so I invite you all to be a part of it and help spread the word! If you or any of your friends are either producers or people who like to write about music, check it out. The project is called My Favorite EP.

PHASE 1: I recorded the lyrics to 5 new songs that have no beat - just rapped them to a metronome. Now I've posted the vocals for folks to download and make their own version of the EP. So far I've got several producers working on it and the results are doooooope. This is open to EVERYONE so go download the vocal tracks here (a .Zip of WAV files):

http://www.zshare.net/download/3076740492b203/

PHASE 2: Once each producer has sent me their creations, I'll post them all for everyone to check out. I'm inviting every musically opinionated person I know, including some pro writers as well as some myspace bloggers, to listen to all the versions of each song and choose YOUR favorite EP. Then writers will post their favorite version of each song on their site/blog as a FREE downloadable album, so each blog will have a different unique version of the EP. Its like a cross between an album and a buffet.

I'm hoping to have all the versions back by the end of October, so beat makers - give it a shot! After that, the rest of the creative process is in the hands of the fans. As it should be.

Peace,
domer

Hey friends!!!

Thanks to the magic and whimsy of everyone's friend Adam Bernard of the Adam B Experience, the not-so-little hip-hop site RapReviews.com has just kind enough to do a wonderful little interview with little old me!  Check it out:  http://www.rapreviews.com/interview/domer2007.html

Hooray!  They get literally millions of unique hits every month, so this is a big deal for me.  Jeeeeeah...  so if by some chance you still haven't seen the video to "You're On To Me" yet, go watch it:

Thanks y'all...

Hey everyone.

First off, another review of "Work With Me" was just posted on Fly.co.uk! Check it: http://www.fly.co.uk/fly/archives/uscanada_reviews/domer_work_with_me.html

Second, I finally posted You're On To Me on myspace in anticipation of the video release on July 14th! Seriously, don't miss that party - the lineup is ridiculously insane. Mon.Key.Pod, Zigmat, Metermaids, brokeMC... plus me and Metermaids are each having out video premiers!

Third, come to our 4th of July party tomorrow afternoon at 248 McKibbin St! We're got tons of fantastic bands as well as solo performances by MINDSpray - I'm on at 8pm.

Fourth, come see brokeMC open up for Planet Asia tonight at Galapagos!

That is all.

Peace,
domer
