Come to this year's Supergrass Christmas Extravaganza at the beautiful art-deco Regal theatre on the Cowley Road, Oxford on Friday 18th December. We got Tickets

There'll be festive delights throughout the evening. Local hero Mark Gardener will be taking to the decks, and you can sip mulled wine from commemorative Supergrass mugs whilst watching N. Giles busk for your pleasure.
Charly Coombes & The New Breed will be providing the support http://www.myspace.com/charlycoombes
Supergrass will play old, new and seasonal favourites, and who knows? we may see the return of last year’s live fighting Santas.

If you can hang on to those Christmas vouchers, the much awaited The Hotrats album Turn Ons - it will be released 25th January 2010 (release dates vary according to where in the world you live)

To celebrate the release The Hotrats will embark an a whistle stop 'world' club tour, taking in Tokyo, New York, Los Angeles, Mexico City, Paris and London. Click here for details: http://www.ilike.com/artist/The+Hot+Rats/events

The Supergrass album 'Release the Drones' is still being lovingly crafted and will be out next year on Cooking Vinyl.

Merry Christmas and hopefully see you on the 18th

Love

In case you've not yet heard, Supergrass are gracing some of you with yet another Christmas extravaganza, aptly titled "Santagrass" at the Regal in Oxford on December 18th. Tickets are available here: (hopefully. MySpace ballsed up the link last time, not me) http://www.seetickets.com/gat/event.asp?e%7Cartist=SUPERGRASS&e%7Cpromoter=372&resultsperpage=20&filler1=gigsandt&filler2=search&orderby=date And opening the show will Charly Coombes and The New Breed. Charly will also be playing with Supergrass, so be sure to get there in time to witness the superhuman feats of musicianship performed by the youngest Coombes lad.

If you're biding your time, waiting for the next Supergrass album, you might be happy, nay, delighted to know that Gaz and Danny are creating a pleasant ruckus in the meantime with a side project aptly named, The Hot Rats.

Teaming up with world-renowned producer Nigel Godrich, The Hot Rats got cooking in the studio creating Pin Up style covers of a variety of pop and rock classics. With influences such as Syd Barrett, Roxy Music and The Sex Pistols, the chance for disappointment is incredibly low.

The Hot Rats will be hitting festivals across the UK this summer, so be sure to add them on all the relevant social networking sites to keep up on any tour dates and details on The Hot Rats debut album out in Autumn. A couple of tracks are already up for your listening pleasure.

The Hot Rats dates so far are:

Glastonbury Festival - Friday, June 26th
Truck Festival - Sunday, July 26th
Leeds Festival - Saturday, August 29th
Reading Festival - Sunday, August 30

Mick's auctioning off his Steinberger Hohner B2A bass and hopefully if you're a bassist you know what that means.

Mick used this bass all over the Diamond Hoo Ha tour of 2008. For a full description of the item visit the auction at:

During their brief 2005 visit to the US, Supergrass stopped in at Fearless Music (fearlessmusic.com) in NYC and performed Kiss Of Life. They are wisely rebroadcasting it this Saturday night giving you a rare chance to see this fab version of the song, acoustic and with additional musicians!

Find out if Fearless Music airs in your city by checking the link below:

Also, keep your eye on the tour dates as a few have been added and I believe more to come as Supergrass deliver more sunshine to thousands of punters.

Some cool new things will be happening soon. Can't say much about it, but it may not scream out that it's Supergrass right away. Best way to keep informed is to sign up for the mailing list to get all the pertinent information as it unfolds. Don't worry, you'll only get emails if something of note is happening with the band, and if you're lucky, a coupon for savings on scotch eggs at Tesco.

Also, thanks to everyone who has been submitting photos for the fan photos section! It's shaping up well but we could do with more. If you have something to contribute, please shoot an email to:

Doing a bit of catch up here on the old MySpace page, so here goes...

Hopefully you got to see Supergrass in 2008, but if you didn't, you definitely want to be kept abreast of any future shenannigans. In the event that you've mostly pissed off to Facebook, you needn't be out of the loop. Log into your account, search for Supergrass and become a fan over there.

Also, we've added a Fan Photos section to the MySpace page, so please send any photos you may have taken over the years to

supergrassphotos@gmail.com
so we can add them to the album.

In other news, there's also a nice "Where I've Been" map on the profile showing how far and wide Supergrass have been over their illustrious 15 years. Has it really been 15 years? Almost. Holy crap.

The songs on the player will rotated more frequently with songs from all albums, so if you add one to your profile, stay tuned as there will soon be another gem for you to choose from and usually a b-side which you may not have heard. Also, there is a new video player on the left which includes the elusive Cheapskate video.

Lastly, in case you missed it or you previously didn't have the funds, may I remind you of Greg Allum's photobook, The Night Shines Like Fireflies, a collection of photos taken in Berlin during the recording of Diamond Hoo Ha. The book can be ordered by visiting http://gregallum.co.uk
