Dear Friends and Fans,
Although
many of you have heard the news from us directly or through the
grapevine, we feel it is our duty to officially inform everyone that we
will no longer be playing shows as Moonlight Cruisers. For
those of you who have enjoyed our music and antics over the years,
please know that we enjoyed every minute of this as well and appreciate
the love and support we received from all of you. Because of this love and support we will continue on as Moonlight Trio. Moonlight
Trio will consist of Al Martinez on guitar, Tony Macias on upright
bass, and Aaron Martinez on drums, all sharing vocal duties. We will strive to bring you the same high-caliber music many of you have come to
know and enjoy, playing some new tunes along with a few familiar ones. Look for our name on upcoming flyers, or look us up at myspace.com/moonlighttrio and twitter.com/moonlighttrio.
We would like to thank each and every one of you for your many years of dedicated love and support. Although
L.A.’s original Cumbiabilly band will no longer be playing, please
continue to support live music in our local scene, especially those who
are willing to take risks and experiment with their sound. Without such dedicated musicians, and amazing fans, this music would cease to exist. Long live Cumbiabilly!!!
Sincerely,
Moonlight Cruisers
