Cabaret Voltaire is an amazing little venue in the caves of Edinburgh. It's an early show, doors at 7 and finished by 10pm for anyone who needs to get a train home, or who wants to go out afterwards. We'll probably organise some kind of night-out/party which you should all come along to. It's gonna be a great night and we want everyone from Edinburgh, Glasgow, Fife, Bathgate, Dundee, Wick, Wales, wherever to come along!

Hey all,

we have digitally released Jackanory as of today! It is available on iTunes (link at bottom) as well as Napster, HMV.com plus loads more.

It's only 79p, and it takes 2 mins to sign up to iTunes. We'd really appreciate if as many people as possible bought the single. I know some of you may have it already, but we are trying to get as many sales as we can to boost our profile. It's also a newly mixed/mastered version of the tune which sounds AMAZING!

Hey folks,

If you are wanting to come and see us play with Luva Anna this Thursday at King Tuts then can you please arrange to get tickets from us before Thursday as apposed to turning up and paying on the door. The running order is decided on pre ticket sales unfortunately, so if most folk who want to see us pay on the door, then there's a good chance you'll miss us cos we'll be on early.

Give one of us a text or reply to this thread and we can arrange either holding back a ticket for you or getting one to you via friends. We can't wait to see everyone there!!!

Good day to you all, what a fine day in Spring it is! Thought we'd give you a little update...

Advert

As some of you may know we won the competition to have our music used on Schuh's tv advert... thanks tons n tons to all you lot who voted! The ad airs today, it's already been on a couple of times on some random MTV channels. It's on channel 4 tonight in between Hollyoaks at roughly 6.45pm so tune in if you wanna see about 10 seconds of shoes dancing to our music!!

Single

We are releasing a split single in June with our friends Be A Familiar. The song we have chosen to release is 'Blunderground'. The song is already away being re-mixed and re-mastered, and we are working fast to come up with artwork for the release. We will be taking the song off the myspace player, now that you've all had a good sample of it! We'll put the new version up closer to the time. We are  planning a small tour of the country with Be A Familiar to promote the single, as well as radio appearances etc...

We're dead excited about this and hope you lot will be up for getting your hands on the limited edition release


Other Stuff

Firstly, apologies to everyone who came to see us at the Rothes Halls on Saturday night. A massive Royal Rumble broke out just before our set which lead to the venue being destroyed and the gig being called off! It was pretty entertaining though - we hope nobody was hurt too bad. It was a charity gig so at least your money went to a good cause - and the night up until that point had been a great success. We'll be back gigging in Glenrothes later this month, and we promise to arrange an over 16's or over 14's gig in the near future.

Thanks to all who came to see us play with Sergeant last night at The Hive. It was a top top night to cap a top top weekend!

Make sure you get in touch with us to buy a ticket for the King Tuts show with Luva Anna on March 19th. We'll be up for helping to arrange buses from places; Bathgate, Fife etc...

Also we're playing a headline show at the Greenside on March 27th with The Apple Scruffs and Dave?... nuff said really... amazing!

 Finally, in April we plan to hold a gig in celebration of Jordan's birthday, and also the band's first birthday. We're not set on the venue yet, but we promise it'll be a bangin' line-up and will be cheap as chips to get it!

Good day troops,

so we one the competition to have our music used in Schuh's first television advert - thanks loads n loads to everyone who voted! Was a close one but we nicked it in the end... ya belter.

The ad airs on Monday, March 9th. It's getting played on loads of channels including channel 4, e4, MTV (all MTV channels), VH1, Paramount plus more. It'll be on in between shows such as Hollyoaks, Shipwrecked, Scrubs, Skins, Jack Ass, 90210, and my favourite Chanelle: Wannabe Popstart. I think the first terrestrial play is on Monday on channel 4 at around 6.45, during hollyoaks... keep an eye out for it, it's short but oh so sweet
