More about….Bit By Bats 'ONE SIX ONE'
Dan Reid's most recent solo 3d animation work: A music clip for Australian indie band Bit By Bats single 'One Six One'. Using 3d program Maya, Photoshop, AfterEffects, Watercolour and finepoint to create the look and feel. Last Friday, the Sydney Morning Herald published this very kind review of our debut album Go Go Go! It was so nice we thought we'd share it with you...
Forget the portly, in-it-for-the-money Pixies reunion. Don't bother with the new Stooges album. Instead, get thee to a store for the Bit By Bats album, where the Melbourians give us energised post-punk rythms mixed with real melodies, lashings of choppy and sometimes vicious guitars mixed with danceable basslines and all the pushiness of a full room of clubbers high on caffeine drinks. It's possibly the best Cure album in two decades. Its definately among this year's most exciting moments.
