We had rehearsals yesterday after four month long break and we were doing fine. We were rehearsing some old songs and adding some final touches to our latest song Temple of doom. But Jarkko managed again to blow his speaker cabinet.

So no writing new material for at least a week. We are planning to write a song inspired by Godzilla movies so hold your breath in anticipation!

So the summer vacation is nearing it's end. It seems that Electric Void Summoner will be appearing live 25.9 or 26.9 in Helvetti soikoon II minifestival in Jyväskylä. More information will be posted as the day comes a bit nearer.

Also a new demo is planned. We have allready written new material that not has been recorded, but have performed one new song live allready. This time we are prepared to go to a real studio.

First song Penal colony of Tantalus is based on the episode of the Star Trek (The original series) episode Dagger of the mind. It tells a story of a new kind of technology used to get evil intentions out of people's minds gone to misuse for evil.

The other song, Technodrome in dimension X is selfexplanatory to those who watched television in the 80's and 90's as children. Technodrome is of course the globe of technology built by Krang, the vicious alien enemy of the teenage mutant ninja turtles from dimension X!

And new version of the song Kosmonautilus is a story of a trip through a black hole by an insane captain of an old space train on an attempt to find God in the center of the galaxy.

We are planning to record a new demo during january and february. Songs we are going to record might be: Technodrome in dimension X, Penal colony of Tantalus and a new song yet to be written.

We are going to play couple of new songs at the show. And you will be able to hear our new amplification gear in action. Be there!

We have completed recording of our first demo. We will upload four songs to myspace. One song will be only available on the CD version of the demo.

Songs recorded are:
Kosmonautilus, a new song.
Serving evil, old song, first one we ever composed.
Earth, also an older song.
The Cult of White Lotus, quite new infact.
Doomhauer, silly song that will only be available on the CD

You will be able to hear the songs when Jarkko is satisfied with them. He likes to mess with them until he gets bored with them. Then they are ready.
