Alright, here we are two weeks into 2009 and we have been robbed again, this time some douchebags busted our drivers side window, fucked up all our shit and in the end found our gps and ended up stealing that.  So the only thing they stole was our gps that cost 1/3 of what we just paid to have our window replaced, I suppose on the upside the auto glass dudes gave the van a well over due vacuum!
we are cursed.

What better way to start the new year than some dates close to home with Darkest Hour, Born Of Osiris and our good friends Dead and Divine, looking forward to these dates and hope to see yall out, we will be playing all brand new material from our new record "Night Storms Hail Fire" that will be released February 17 through Victory!

Alright so its 2009, we have had an inside joke going since we started this band that shit was going down in 2009, so for example somebody may ask us "when are you guys putting out a new record?" and our reply "2009" and ironically we have a new record called NIGHT STORMS HAIL FIRE coming out February 17, 2009 on Victory!

Night Storms Hail Fire is basically our answer to how badly 2008 burned us, anything that could have gone wrong, did go wrong, bunk tours, getting robbed and all our friends bands breaking up left us very bummed out and exhausted.  So when writing time came around, we pulled out all the stops, we decided that we were going to try some new things and experiment a little and find inspiration in all the shit storms of the past year.  The record was recorded in Toronto by Ian Blurton who you may know from his work with cursed(also broke up last year fuck sakes).  We tracked everything live of the floor, for those of you who don't know what that means, I'll explain, there was no click track or quantized drums or cut and paste blah blah blah, we jammed, we played our music the way we play it live note for note and we are fucking stoked on it!

We have also moved on as a four piece, Greg is no longer with us and is instead focussing on his band "Don't Mind Dyin" they rule and we wish Greg and the fellas all the best!  We don't plan on find a replacement anytime soon either, we recorded the album as four and have been playing live as a four, we like it, so although we have had a bunch of offers and appreciate it, we are rolling with this for the time being, thanks though.

This has turned out to be a lot longer than I anticipated, but its been a while since any updates and theres so much going, the album version of "Doom Sentence" is now online, we got tours out the wazzoo piling up and we are ready to get back in the van and get robbed 3 more times, see you soon!
