....Well…here I am in front of my computer writing some funny and amazing stories about how cool the BLACK SOCIETY JAPAN TOUR was for ARTHEMIS!!!!
First of all we wanna THANK YOU, ARTHEMIS crazy fans, for the great loyalty towards the band and for being so important on this tour….it was so cool partying loud with you every night!
…the first day at the airport was fuckin’ tricky, problems with the luggage and instruments on board…extra fee to pay, losing our suitcases in the ....Narita.. ..Airport....…not bad as a start hahahaha, but let’s carry on with the story of the Italiano Metal Pastaboys!!!
Just outside of the airport…Alessio said “Hey guys, let’s try this amazing Green Tea!” …so everyone got the green tea bottles …first taste of ....Japan.... = this was pure shit!!! Hahahaha …well, not really but…very bitter and pretty strange flavour… but beer never betrays so we decided to start drinking only beer and from that day everything was pure hell…positively!!!
We met our Soundholic Records A & R Yushi and Toru, and they already started having tons of fun with us and our party animal lifestyle!
Now it’s time for some crazy sightseeing, led by our great manager Suzuky Kawasaky…ehm…Chizuka Kakizawa hahaha, sorry Chiz; ....Tokyo.... is a very inspiring city and absolutely “out of this world”, crazy and wise at the same time …so damn cool! But, let me just tell you something before carrying on…. SAKE is a Killer and rules among Stars in the sky! ...so we decided to abuse it! Only God knows how much we drunk!!
The second day, we finally had a chance to meet you at the great signing session at DISK UNION Records store for the first time, and it was fantastic! So many presents and so many new Metal friends brought our entire discography to be signed and that means you’re fuckin’ great!! ….we just loved that Meet & Greet.
After that… straight to the ....Electric.. ..City.... (Akihabara) ready to party… hard! …and I can say we properly did it! Crazy night and at the end of the evening we had a strange funny meeting… ’A girl from ....Hawaii.... who does photography and massage!’ ...what a combination???? But we were too busy drinking beer and sake and eating the whole world of Japanese food! ...personally I was just too busy doin’ the Ozzy Osbourne imitation, jumping like a werewolf and almost hurting my butt landing on my chains….hahaha get fuckin’ craaaazy!
The 1st show in ....Tokyo.... @ Live Station was wild and you rockers were wilder than us, so….what a rush!!!! Still remember that show clearly and we will always remember that as it was the absolutely 1st ARTHEMIS SHOW IN JAPAN! Motherfuckin’ CRAZY!
A huge thank you to who was there sharing that huge important moment with us!!!
…Then came the time to drink some hundred beers….and…guess what??? We did it well!
Osaka was cool…we finally had a chance to meet our friend Asano, who’s been supporting us since we released the 1st album in Japan (thank you brother) and our die-hard fan MiMi. The show was heavy as Hell and lots of fans came with the masks, because of the Swine Flu…it was like playing in front of a great crowd of Ultraman!!! Hehehe amazing!
And…. that was the time to go to ....KYOTO...., probably…and…without “probably”, the best thing we’ve ever seen in our lives!!! It’s just like living in a dream and I can see why Japanese culture is so wise and precise, full of details and philosophy behind all.
Hey, we’re back in ....Tokyo.... to have some crazy shopping (like Alessio’s new Fender Stratocaster guitar) but above all, to be interviewed by Masao Fujiki @ BURRN! Magazine and Captain Wada’s Radio Programmes. We had a great time with them and that was about time to get trashed at the Terrific METAL KARAOKE where we spent 5 hours of non-stop-singing-screaming-drinking-eating-headbanging …ended up totally out of this world and brain-dead!!!! HAHAHAHAAA…..phew….but still alive and kickin’!
OK….the Arthemis caravan still moves to new places….that’s the time for ....Nagoya.... to taste our Handful of METAAAAAAAAAL! …First of all, greeting to Ultraman to start the day properly and then straight to the Fan Meeting and jam session with you guys addicted to Arthemis!!!
ESP/MI JAPAN in ....Nagoya.... were awesome and treated us very well. We decided to burn the stage down with a crazy performance / clinic for the students and…with the students, who were playing ANGELS IN BLACK to us with a great enthusiasm and the guts that rock stars need to have!!! How cool was that??? Only WE can tell hehehe…
By the way……we never stopped drinking every day as a proper training…..me, Matteo, Alessio, Paolo….just drunk and happy as babies….
The Nagoya show was fantastic and we could see you guys were really into it headbanging like true Metalheads all the gig long….
Back to rainy Tokyo for the last show of the BLACK SOCIETY JAPAN TOUR….
(it was pissing from the sky like there was no tomorrow) …Alessio’s brother Marco, decided to come and see us playing live from ....China....…so coooool!
That show was incredible and emotional as you were incredible and crazy that we decided to play you one of the wildest performance ever in Arthemis career….who was there knows what I’m talking about…HELL of a performance!!!!...and hell of a fuckin’ crazy party we had all night long….heading for Narita, back to pastaland!!!
We’ll be back next year with the new album and we wanna THANK YOU sincerely from the bottom of our hearts for being there and lovin’ us…we’ll never forget…so…
