This last weekend led to two new instrumentals being written with the new drummer. We also resurrected "Never Forget You" and "Where is the Light". The list is growing and studio sessions at Pro Audio should be coming soon. I have been battling with depression again. It seems to get the worst this time of the year. Wading through the clouds tends to lead the people around me to avoid my company. . . Which really doesnt help. But I guess thats how they avoid sinking into it themselves. I cant even really determine the catalyst behind it. Things are just appearing less appealing and Im low on energy. I feel tired like I need to sleep, but to do so would make it all worse. I am happy to say that 2009 has been an amazing year. I am thankful for that. I am thankful to have my family intact and my extended family(Morbid Serenity) livin well. I want to publicly thank Taz, Cecil, Waylen and Brandon for the creative mammoth that Morbid Serenity has become. I want to thank all the people that stood by us and supported our dreams. People on that list are Jenn Owens, KOD, Dani Turley, Tammy Ringheimer, Ciara Bliege, Jamie Curtis, Koz, Sheree Margaret, Courtney Wells, Jason and Chara Blaszkowski, Psychostick, Mower, After Autumn, Pain For Sale, Arlanz Kustomz, The people of Gillette WY. Joleen Bauer for cheating on Brandon with 6 guys. Her betrayal led to his freedom of her succubi grasp(2 years of bullshit comes to a close). I also need to thank Turk for all his help this year. I still dont understand his new found hatred for me after all we accomplished this year. Without the fallout, I wouldnt have reconnected with my brother on this level of unity. Thank you. Band practice has resumed for the band and thus far the songs being focused on have been "Dogma", "Piss Me Off Again", "Melancholia", "Matriarch's Fury", "Forgive Me", and "Heretic". We played a couple covers too. . . "Last Caress", "Big Balls", "Paranoid", "Crazy Train" . . . .

Bus and Cecil are working out very well, and it hasn't been a hassle to get them to show up. I'm very happy to say that I think that I've found some guys now that actually give a shit and aren't going to be wasting our time.

Waylen has not been with us this week due to a medical situation with his 9 year old son. Fatherhood is first. . . ALWAYS!!!

We are getting prepared for PSYCHOSTICK on Nov 6th at the Camplex CENTRAL PAVILLION. This show is being presented by TURKISH PRODUCTIONS.

MORBID SERENITY

I'm talking about the guys that opened up the Ying Yang Twins show in Sturgis during RALLY 2009. KOD, Bigg Sherm, TY Lamb, Yung TEMP, Six67Seven Boss, and then the clown guitarist of Morbid Serenity.(ME)

This show was a blast to perform at. My only complaint was that the rain storm cut our set time short, but we made our point to everyone that was watching in spite of the short run of our set.

I have included in this post the video that was taken backstage and during the concert. This video features: KOD, Bigg Sherm, TY Lamb, Yung TEMP, Six67Seven Boss, Bo$$ Regi$, B of Dakota South Records, Doe $ Boy, Goat Boy, Taz Stein, Various members of the Full Throttle Saloon stage security team, a couple of Jackyl's roadies, and a bunch of fine ass bartenders.

I am honored to have been a part of this event and am very happy that my people caught this on film.

Big thanks to Jennifer Owens, Taz Stein, and Bus Shultz for handling the film duties while I was on the stage.

Anyone that had a doubt that I was going away anytime soon, here's your proof. I'm here to stay.

Ryan Gaddy with KOD Opening for Ying Yang Twins!!!

Natalie Stone after being off the radar for the last few weeks has sent a simple message. It just said "I'm out, leave me alone."


I can't say that she was ever really in this band. . .

1 practice in 8 months

1 recording session that led to 1 song being done as a rough cut demo. . .

Not once did she contribute lyrics, not once did she call us up and say "Hey lets get together this weekend for a jam."

I guess I just really have been lying to myself that she would ever take the spot seriously.

Well to all the people that bought the album onthe pre-sale, I apologize, Natalie's voice will not be in the mix. We've been waiting around for something that never was going to happen. . . .

I am looking to put a new vocalist into this band, or if nobody steps up, I guess I'll get back to doing it myself, but this time I'm taking a different approach to it. Melody vocals are not my strong point as you all know, I'll more than likely end up being the one to do the vocals when it's all said and done. . . so I'm going back to what I'm good at, SCREAMING MY ASS OFF. The more mellow parts of the music will be more along the lines of speaking in rhythm with variant levels of intensity.

The dream of having melody in the vocals dies with Natalie Stone's exit. . .

Pipe dream. . .

Morbid Serenity will more than likely remain as a 3 piece band.

Waylen, Bus, and I are ready to take the stage at the earliest available time after we get at least 1 month to re arrange the way the music is going.

At least now this band isn't being hindered by the concrete shoes of a woman that feels the need to dance around the subject and waste a shitload of time and energy.

Fuck it.

I'm back to Vocals, don't like it? FUCK OFF.

IF you do, thanks for the support.

This is my place to say and do what I will. If you don't like it, quit stopping by this page to complain about it, at least I can say that I don't give up, and that I take this shit seriously. So does Waylen Block, and so does Bus Shultz.

Last night at about midnight I recieved word from Natalie that her father, Gaylen "Mac" Stone, had embarked on his voyage to the next life. After a week long fight in the ICU, he passed at the University of Minnesota Medical Center late last night. Mac is survived by his wife Lynette, daughter Natalie, sons Nate and Nick. You will me deeply missed. Morbid Serenity and Gaddy Entertainment extend the deepest of sympathy to the Stone family.
