Father of the Flood

Father of the Flood is coming back to Sacramento.  He came through back in March and really surprised us with his minimal and ambient music.  Tape loops, guitar work, synth work.  All sounds were collaborated to something beautiful, personal and very touching.

This will be Night Nurse's first show since... I think March?  I'm not sure and I'm too lazy at the moment to check my calendar.  Night Nurse combines the talents of Chad Stockdale, Art Lessing and the Flower Vato, Nurse Toothtar and myself.  For this project all of us have seemingly taken on different personas.  It has been a while since we've done a show because we've all become busy with our own projects.

Hailey has been doing really well with her MOM material.  MOM shows are popping up everywhere and they're growing more shocking and more fun.

Art Lessing and the Flower Vato have been nominated for a Sammie.  The act has moved from a two piece to a tight four-some.  The songs have grown deeper and the sound is fuller.  Don't miss them.

Audioemetic is Jim's solo project.  Jim and Susan have been doing (waning) for a while and it seemed that Audioemetic was going to disappear for a moment there.  Luckily the noise and the chaos hasn't stopped.

I have been working on Chopstick material and new inventions.  I just haven't had anything newly recorded put on this site.  I'll just say that I have been working on this label release for over a year, off and on of course, and it's going to be awesome, but because it's such a big project it's been overwhelming at times.

Also, I'll advertise Neon Noodle, while I'm at it.  Other silly things I've recorded that doesn't fit in the Chopstick genre have been uploaded there. 

I'm going to be on a compilation with Venetian Snares (among a billion other dozen awesome artists.  vsnares was the one I was most excited about)!!!!
