Seeing how I keep people up to date by various places, like the official site, facebook, this place here, twitter, and such things. It has become very hard to keep track of it all, or find the time to go to all those places!
So, I thought it was the most convenient to put a place together where I can update people properly, and knowing that people only have to check that, than three or four places to keep themselves up to date!

Especially now that things are set andI've just started to process of a Full CD, I thought it was nice to make a blog.

Hello everybody!

Sorry that it has been a bit silent, but it has been silent for quite the reason!
Some months ago I have been asked to compose, record and edit music for a movie/documentary...I had quite the deadline, it all had to be done in just a couple of months!

Also, I have never written music on pictures before, so it was quite the challenge.
Also of course the other challenge was to record and edit all the songs myself.
Luckily I had my new programs and so at the ready. Though never I studied for recording or editing work, of course...Whoa, exciting!
I do have to admit two months is way too short, but they really needed it soon and they hadn't found anybody yet who could do it, until they bumped in to me.

So I am happy that I can show everyone some of these songs, and a few more shall come online in the following weeks as well!

For now you can listen to a song called 'The Only Thing', which is my personal favourite as well.
The song, is actually, a rework, of my first written song ever...But seeing how it was my first written ever, it was never 'strong' enough to perform...So I changed it tremendously and made it orchestral, and everything...And I must say I'm loving it more, than how it were before...Sometimes it is good to lay songs aside for years!

Yup, as the title did say, the song 'So Let's Go-oh-oh-oh', is more of a project, than an own thing.

I came upon someone who was looking for an artist who could whip up a song, that could be used for an animation-opening, thus I started working on the intro-song for them.
First one was something instrumental, but not too suitable, it had to be more 'bouncy'...

Thus I went around and listened to some anime openings to get me some ideas.
But I decided not to follow such a thing after all, and somehow still keep my own touch in.
It was hard, but lovely to do, I never really done drums, or so myself, so this is actually also a first for me.

It also gave me a feel of other sorts of music there is, of course, I always been very tight to my style and well, just being 'me', so stepping outside and try to write and feel, for someone else, been a nice experience.

Anyway, I do hope you all enjoy it none the less.

Things have been luckily progressing rather well for me, with my little EP 'Bloodwings'...I'm still very proud of it and all that.
It is going rather worldwide even, all the way to the UK, Sweden, Finland, Norway, etc...I really enjoy that.
Itunes and other mp3 sites are going rather good as well, so I can't really complain much...

Finally, after quite some work and a wait, things are now showing up on several sites where you can order music online!
Bloodwings now can be found on stores as iTunes, amazon mp3, Rhapsody, Shockhound, etc...

Unfortunately some things are a bit strange, so it is best to look after the CD Bloodwings instead of doing a search by Wingy.
on iTunes I'm with another Wingy, therefor sadly enough stand under worldmusic and not alternative / rock...
Rhapsody put me under alternative / Punk...I have no idea why I'm in catogory punk...Now, I'm not going to fuss over it, maybe the more opportunities for people finding me? ;)

Ah well, at least at Shockhound I'm under a good catogory! As I should be...Easy to be found there!
Anyway, I still say, iTunes all the way, in my opinion.
I love to to get my music from there these days, so...But each probably has his own ways!

What I'd also love to ask you people though, is, on whom purchased the CD online on my site, or goes by the mp3sites, is that if it's possible, write some reviews and/or rate please. It is hard to get started, but once a few ratings and reviews would be up, it would just be a brilliant start and get things going and going!
So far I luckily gotten good feedback and I been meeting a lot of new people, it is very nice.

Today, I have gotten my first copy of my very first cd ever, which, is quite obvious by now, is called 'Bloodwings'.

In about a week time I will get all the rest of the CD's, and then they shall be for sale, online!!! But by then I shall guide you to where you must be, and what so ever.

Anyway...
It is actually a quite weird feeling, you know, I (and Tijl, he he), worked on this for over a year, and I think I will miss that work somewhere. It was fun to pop in to the studio every now and then, it was fun to discuss and put it together. It was fun to make the artwork and see it developing piece by piece...I remember working on them wings of the cover tremendously long...10h or so for one bloody wing, it actually drove me insane at some point but I kept on going.
But now we've reached the goal, the CD is done, recorded, mixed and mastered, and officially there...It seems unreal, but yet it is there.
Seems as if I will have to get used to it I think...snap out of the little dream (which is quite real)
I dreamt of starting such a thing as when I were little, and was eager to start around the age of 15, but I waited and I am glad I did...For this couldn't have been more perfect in my opinion, it was now the time and hopefully it shall show soon it was all worth it.
Well, for me it is...and now I hope I will please many people with my music and hopefully will reach more things and build things out.

But this is just the start, who knows what the future might bring!
I do look forward to it...

Hey everyone,

It took a little longer than thought at first, but finally, yes, finally the 'BloodWings' CD is finished and is at this moment all being printed, as we speak!
Tomorrow I am getting my very first copy, and there for I will be able to put little soundclips on, so, definitely keep an eye out on here!
Also, now that the CD is there, it will be on sale soon as well!!!!

It was an amazing journey really, a long, and a hard one at times, but definitely worth it.
Now to hope all goes well and that the path keeps on going.
I suppose once all is set off nicely, I should go dream about another CD or something. ;)

Well, here I am again with a little blog.
For I have been standing in the studio yesterday, to work on a little mini-cd, or single, or however you could call it really!

A year ago I had already started upon the project of the cd, the recordings of the guidance were finished and sometimes I had been able to use them for lil performances, which was awfully handy of course!

Other than that it was a lot of waiting but yesterday I stood in the studio again to re-record some of the singing, and hear some new things for the track of BloodWings, which shall be the title of the CD.

Must say I do love to stand in the studio, even if it's hard work, especially if it is rather warm in there (oh yes, very warm!!! I nearly died...well, not that bad).
But things went smoothly and all rather fine, all got done in an afternoon.
It's really work for me such things, so I do look forward to a time where I could stand in a studio again!

Though I must say that performing is of course much more fun!!!

Now, all my work is done for a while, (well, not completely, must finish the artwork), now I wait for the other to do his job, heh, and hopefully I can bless people here with a song (or two), of the CD/Single, by the end of this month, hopefully!!! Cross your fingers!
I'm at least excited!

Greetings everyone,

So my demo is finally finished, it has been one hell of a ride, really.
Recording things, over and over again.
Computer refusing to work, then me falling ill, and that of course not always too good for the voice, but today I finally managed, did some editing, gave a few nasty comments to the computer, and got the demo on here once it was finished!

Perhaps I ought to explain a thing of two about this song, Free My Soul.
Firstly, all the poems/lyrics I write are pure to the heart...So you could say they are me in every way possible.
Free My Soul is actually something that I had gotten a few lines written down of, as the chorus, and a few single lines, in bits and pieces of the verses, a while ago...A while ago, is, aka, a few years even! And since I keep all of them near me, I brought it back up, and had the inspiration to write it further due of course, happenings in my life.

You could say that it goes about a struggle to break free from things you're stuck in...This pit you can't crawl out of, the same sceneries passing you on and on....
You want to get somewhere, and you could only look at it.

That is kind of what it explains in one part, but then it also explains that at times you do find something/someone in your life that gives you this little spark.

The piano parts and such however, came obviously after I had written the poem.
I were randomly playing with my right hand and came up with a simple thing to play. But it immediately struck me as right and recorded it as fast as possible.

My piano has this setting for violinsounds and so and if you get the hang of it it gives some nice affects. So I recorded them on a second track over the piano and there it was...Getting formed...

Things changed, tunes came for the singing, and it grew to this song in the end.
Also some things came out very nice, to me in my opinion, which also were meant to be...As the violin taking over some of the voice at the end of some sentences, like, at 'dream', or 'soul'...Leaves things up for ones imagination.
Well...Anyway, I grew very fond of it, and became very dear to me.

So it was fun recording it, and singing it over and over again really, and now the end result made it all more worthwhile and a step forward for me to my future in the music.

Now I hope you like it...
I'd describe the style of music for that one, but I can't...If anyone has suggestions...;)
